Just a question I've been contemplating over the past few days.

Ever read a book or anything in text and thought with the correct screen adaptation would make a great movie, TV series or video game? I know this question has been frequently asked involving which video games you'd like to see as movies, but I want to make this a more broad topic since there's a ton of stuff that'd work well as adaptations.

Post your ideas here.

I'd like to see the Sprawl Trilogy as movies or TV series.

Diary Of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul. That was the only good book in the series. Having a 2D animated movie based of that would be awesome!

Also, some book i read before but forgot the title, I think it was about some old guy who took his grandson to his house and has 3 pet dragons. I remember it being very longgg Like 1000 pages.

They could just remake Game of Thrones but instead this time make everyone a cat and you would get pretty much the same thing as the book series.

I remember reading the "Chronicles of Ancient Darkness" years ago and I heard rumors of the first book being made into a movie. I think this was early 2008 and I've heard nothing since.

I still think they'd make a good film series.

Considering the plot of the LOS movie was attempting to make it even more generic than the trilogy already was(and more Star Wars-y than LOTR-y), yeah, we can't trust someone to do that right.

This technically doesnt follow the topic rules but

Ok so there was this flash game called "Every Day the Same Dream"

It was extremely confusing but once figured out it was really deep and meaningful. It could be adapted into a film with modifications. The game was also very short but.
