I generally have "tiers" of favourite characters. Characters in the same tier, are in no particular order.

"Always my favourites" Tier:
Rosalina
Sonic (he's had some portrayals I really didn't like but he's mah boi for all of the good ones and for the cool abilties and design)
Professor Layton
Phoenix Wright
Sora (pre-KH2/Re:coded only)

That's just one example, and I suppose the only relevant one.

Sometimes I forget characters on occasion though.

I actually have no clue...but since I love hilariousness and randomness, I'd say Steve from Minecraft. He can punch things to death and transform a 1m cubed block of wood into 4 1m cubed blocks of wood magically. He can sprint infinitely as long as he has a food supply, and can do so ma y more building feats. However, he is such a bad survivalist that form a WHOLE COW he gets one meal's worth of steak. From a whole skeleton he gets 1-2 bones, etc.
