Depends on the city.

Athens (GA) is okay, but it's full of sketchy-looking people.

MARTA (Atlanta) is crap.

However, St. Louis buses are probably the best I've ever seen. 10/10 would ride again

The problems I have with public transport are that during Mondays to Thursdays their timetables are too limited and another problem is that they never have enough of leg-room for people of my size. And I am not even that out of regular bounds in terms of human height and proportions of body members.
