I don't want to really explain what happened in the sketch, since that may be TMI. It was focused on Skylanders Trap Team. It featured Tuff Luck, Bushwack, Sure Shot Shroomboom, High Five, Whisper Elf, and Wolfgang. As an Skylanders fan, I found it quite funny.

I don't think Activision has a say in it. Fair Use covers parody and this quite obviously falls under parody.

Yeah,but they're all specifically from Trap Team, it sounds like a parody requested way back then.Though, with Fair Use,it could be TFB feeling like being a little devious.

They were from Trap Team because that was the entire joke. A play on the... less kid friendly version of "Trap".

Before anyone calls offensive, no, I wouldn't have problem with any of them being transgender, it's more of the not-childhood/headcanon ruined kind of thing.

I don't think so. Dave actually found that to be funny; think he added to one of his playlists on YouTube, or at least liked the video.

Don't know about funny but it sure was something. Can't really see Fire Kraken the same way after Horrible Mistake.

Can't believe they never released Horrible Mistake. It was just like the Yawn Traps and all those triple packs. Fair Use hasn't helped a whole lot on Youtube, though that might just shoot down mirrors there and not affect the AS site.
However, as I mentioned, they didn't remove the quite gory Swap Force animation, so they might be cool with it and just ask them to put a disclaimer or something before parents complain about these guys not being cis or tumblr calls them problematic.

Not wanting to go offtopic I meant Acti could send a report and get that taken down despite being a parody, but they're not like Nintendo or Ubisoft to have done that much in the past. In general, they seem meh towards fan works.

Considering what Robot Chicken has done in the past with many different movie, tv and video game properties, no one is going to do anything.
Looks like they used standard figures, Wolfgang from McDonalds and some custom figure they made for Tuff Luck.

It may want you to log in with your service provider's details so you can watch, but I dunno, I just clicked the link and it started playing above.

It was kind of funny but that's what Robot Chicken does.

Adult Swim and the guys behind Robot Chicken likely wouldn't care if someone does try to do anything. They've been doing this stuff for over a decade now.

Who do you think Activision is going to report it to in order to get it removed? It's being hosted on Adult Swim's website.

Nothing will happen with this - and if Activision is stupid enough to try, they'd lose any legal challenge *and* would end up with more people looking at the video than before, just to see what all the fuss is about.

The *only* thing I could see potentially happening would be if the Skylanders cartoon series was being developed for Cartoon Network - If Activision wanted to hold this against CN/AS and threaten to pull the show to another network, *that* is possible.

Sadly the clip really fell flat and wasn't very good nor entertaining. It felt really childish and quite obvious. I mean I am sure that several of us had the same exact ideas knowing the double ententes for Traps and Bushwack. I never thought this way about Tuff Luck before though, but really there wasn't a whole lot of larger sized females that they could have picked from to pull this off with.

I personally think the show has never been funny and pretty much bottom of the barrel humour.

@fairyland - Head Rush came out in the same game, though.

Never liked most of AS' shows, not my kind of humor. I saw a bit of Rick and Morty and did find it alright compared to the usual(and Pocket Mortys is probably the best Pokémon parody out there for actually understanding the source material), but like all other good cartoons going on right now never have the time or motivation to catch up.

I didn't find the clip that great. Robot Chicken is hit or miss with me. Either I find the skit amazingly funny or I don't.

This one was as if they had one joke ("Trap") and decided to write an entire skit around it without really having anything else to go with it.

The ***** Pudding skits have been my favorites. In fact, my message alert tone is her (a family-friendly "Dun da da dun").

Robot Chicken will probably remain on my DVR list until it's cancelled - the best of it outweighs the worst of it (and this skit was by far not the worst of Robot Chicken...)

The sketch itself is not my kind of humor, but the fact that Skylanders got featured in Robot Chicken is funny in itself.

saw the clip and it was a lame joke in where they went with it. for them to actually have been funny they could've did a lot more research into skylanders than just scrapping the surface. as someone already said they're hit or miss and they definitely missed on that one.

The joke itself would have been funny but as tigerdr said they simply used some Skylander's names for puns' sake and played on the name of the game.
What didn't make it funny for me is how explicit they got.

Honestly, that's not the worst joke Robot Chicken has ever made.

...Don't look up their Toy Story video. Because if you do then you'll wish they made more jokes like that.

Also I love how this has to do with Tuff Luck, as in celebration of St Patricks Day, I'll be doing a longplay of all of Kaos Mode using her for the majority.
