Spotify and anything that doesn't involve Apple/iTunes.
Maybe Apple Music is different but iTunes always gave me trouble. |

^That's why. Also why have only two months of free music when you can have free music FOREVER? |

Again maybe it's different for Apple Music (and maybe even iTunes is different now) but if I recall correctly iTunes music used a format that was to be used exclusively with Apple devices. And if you're like me and you preferred to use your MP3 player over your iPhone for music (and now where I use my Windows Phone for music), that **** just ends up feeling like a waste.
If you have an Apple device go nuts but if you use Android, Windows, or intend to use a computer that isn't Mac, then just go Spotify. Spotify on desktop is completely free with some ads and you only need to pay for Spotify premium if you want to be able to listen to it on mobile without shuffle. Also if you just want to hear new music from any certain genre I suggest RadioTunes. Miles better than alternatives like Pandora if you ask me. |

spotify has a lot more content and you get a smoother interface, a subscription isnt forced on you either, the only thing really lacking from spotify is radio

And with radio you can use TuneIn which can get you radio stations from around the world.

I use iTunes and never had any problems with them not working on non-Apple devices. But, perhaps Apple music and ITunes music is different??

I'd definitely recommend Spotify.
I've never used Apple music, though. |
