It's called Ghostbusters!
You might be saying "Why a new Star Wars then?" but I say there are classic movies that can expand into sagas with world-building and exciting new situations and there are ones that are best self-contained. There's a lot more you can do with Star Wars than you can with Ghostbusters.
The 007 franchise, while having its fair share of stinkers, is a great example with various Bond girls, fantastic locations, gadgets, bad guys, evil plans and minions. The original RoboCop film is a timeless classic that's more about theme than lore. It was about a man who was killed, brought back to life as a puppet but was able to free himself but it's best remembered for the satire of the modern corporate world. Every other film after seem to miss the point as they were made by the modern corporate world. Not just RoboCop as there's also Highlander and Men In Black. Every other installment after the first ones suck.
Back to Ghostbusters. What could they possibly do with it? Even if there is potential for world-building and explore new ideas around ghosts without sacrificing humour, Hollywood will not budge as if the name brand alone won't sell tickets. At best they would shamelessly rehash old jokes from the original. At worst it would be a generic lowbrow comedy tropes you see in a Happy Madison production.
Not all films should be rebooted or made into franchises. There's plenty of new ones to go around, whether in film or television. Even with The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, Sons of Anarchy and House of Cards, hype for the return of F.R.I.E.N.D.S would eclipse all these quality shows but that doesn't mean it would be good. I don't ever want F.R.I.E.N.D.S to ever come back nor should there be another Ghostbusters, RoboCop, Highlander or Men In Black.
