I played long enough because I like it. But it has flaws and a lot of them. It would be not smart to deny it. And I see that developers do not fix them over long period of time or sometimes "fix" something in very strange way no one were asked for.

And yes you are a whiner when you talk about all these flaws, how it isn't balanced, how they lied about number of builds, how they aren't for "gamers" anymore, they don't listen to you, yet you still spent "hundreds of hours" playing it. Either you are a glutton for punishment or you are vastly overstating your complaints - ie, being a "whiner". I know when a game doesn't live up to my expectations, I don't dump weeks of my life into it.

I, my wife and oldest son have played it plenty, my wife was really into Seasons until fairly recently. One of my best friends hovers around the Leaderboards frequently. I'm pretty familiar with it. No game is perfect, but if you can craft a game where people dump hundreds and hundreds of hours into it, you have made something pretty darn special.

There is one thing about Blizzard that is very consistent. People that play their games constantly, yet complain the whole time - and talk about how far they have fallen from "not listening to the gamers" and how you are going to stop playing their games if they don't fix it all. Ho hum.

I ordered the ones i needed on the gamestop website though the spring dive bomber is treated as a driver not a vehicle because of pricing? you can get a free driver with that one strange enough just not another vehicle as a head's up. Also if you're looking for the nintendo ones half off they have them on the website too got the bowser one for that price

Why would they not have shipped? I've called every Gamestop in my area, and apparently none have gotten any!

Oh they shipped but just not in time! Watch next week you will see them rolling into Gamestops stores. The bigger stores first and the smaller stores last. The vendor well didn't ship in time is what I hear? Last Skylander day I was disappointed and this time too. Oh well I should just keep shopping at TRU! I just want Gamestop to quit doing Skylander day because they suck at it!

Just build a TRU in my town already so I can stop going to these dissapointing Skylander days.

I went to TRU and price-matched for the Land Pack. :D

No Land Pack, no Sky Pack, 1 of each Power Blue, 1 Spring Ahead Dive Bomber @ both GameStops I checked. The only Eon's Elite I saw was a Whirlwind @ 1 location. No purchases today, but at least I got a free poster! LOL

I feel your pain I waited outside Gamestop for an hour before they opened only to get turned away because they did not have any of the items I wanted to buy. I went to walmart with their flyer and had walmart match the prices for the items I could not get there. I am going to TRU with the flyer and have them macth the rest. Thanks Gamestop my money can go to the other stores. It seems its Skylanders Day everywhere else but Gamestop for me.... Thanks Walmart and thanks TRU!

You could argue there's an indirect relationship between the known fact that SC is the worst Skylanders game sales wise to the fact that stores have to put on sales to move product.

There is,but it's not like people are saying that suddenly they're doing one now because they're doing badly. That's expressed by the fact there were a ton of sales with little time between them this time instead.

welp no land pack at my store too. the guy said they had 2 incoming but why put it on sale when you dont even have it? no power blues but i wasent looking for them anyways. For my haul i got the roller brawl and pop fizz double packs. dive clops (been putting buying him off for a long time) and a free stormblade ( i already had her but i like her so much and she was free so why not). I guess i could of gotten one of the may variants they had there but i dont want to collect variants, at least not yet. went to bestbuy after, got the dive bomber there with some 5 dollar gift cards, no land packs there ether. only thing im missing now is thrillpede and his vehicle and the land racing pack.

but at gamestop i found a headless smash hit lol

Basically I had hid the Power Blue Splat and they were looking for it today for another customer. OOPS! LOL! I don't care because it wasn't hidden very well, but I knew no one would find it because their Skylanders section is so jammed together and tight that it's hard to find anything.

On the way home, at the Salvation Army, I found a really nice Skylanders Spryo Easter basket plush for only two bucks. Images at the thread if you care to check it out!

It didn't seem that anyone cared about the sale though as I didn't see any difference in the figure stock from a couple days ago. Then again I did go to the new Gamestop which is rather hidden away and rarely gets much foot traffic. Who knows how the other stores had done selling these things.

I decided not to buy a starter pack for $30 as they didn't have any 2015 Elites to give for free, only the 2014 ones. I didn't feel like going all around to all the Gamestops to find any 2015's to get either. I mean, those things are already appearing used and I can get them just about anytime in their buy two get three free sale whenever I feel like it. They already had wave one SC figures used, so people are starting to dump them fast.

Went to gamestop today, even though i got the blues yesterday.

No land pack. One PB triggs, one PB gold rusher. Got an extra triggs to keep in box and a free astroblast. I plan to make him lightcore.

Stock on the power blues seems to be low in my area. PB splat is starting to sell out everywhere, and i would like another to accompany my in box PB triggs..

And i doubt the land pack will show up anytime soon. When it does, i'll wait until they put them on sale.. I need to pick up my roy pre-order on the 18th, dammit!

Didn't get to my Gamestop until 2pm. Still managed to grab a Land Racing Pack, all 4 Power Blues, Roller Brawl/Tomb Buggy twin pack and the Donkey Kong twin pack!...good haul for me!

From looking online, the stock was limited at every GS in my area (metro Atlanta). Both GS I went to only had one of each Power Blue figure. At the 1st GS, they were already reserved for someone else. I was able to get all four at the 2nd GS with the Racing pack. GS is more miss than hit with these "Skylander Day" events. Worker at 2nd store didn't know there was a special event.

Honestly you can probably ask for a poster anytime next week. My Gamestop just tosses them away in the trash dumpster unopened after a few weeks. It's how I got so many of those 3 panel posters that they were supposed to give away. I think they keep them around for a while just in case someone does ask for one.

Was there at opening. Powder Blues were sold out from earlier, and no Gamestop within 100 miles got a Land Racing Pack in. Lame.

We already have Superchargers for the PS4 but my daughter wanted it for her Wii U.

We grabbed all of this for just under 65 bucks after tax:
Wii U starter pack (She wanted the Nintendo figures)

We also got:
Land Racing Pack for 16.50 plus tax.

Overall, we cleaned up on most of everything that we needed so far. No plans to get any other Eon's unless we can get Ghost Roaster or Slam Bam for 10 bucks or less.

No Land Racing Action Pack and no poster. To be fair, it didn't even look like my Gamestop got any posters to begin with. I don't really mind. I was more looking forward to getting the toys.

However, my Gamestop guy said he knows some stuff about the Land Racing Action Pack, and is expecting it in soon. I'm happy about that.

Well it took going to 5 gamestops to get x3 of each Autism Blue. Not one had a land pack, but I did find 2 that has the roller brawl pack so I got one of those.

If you wanted the Power Blues, you could have just ordered online. You still get the deal and all four combined exceeds the threshold for using "SAVER" for free shipping. Most Gamestops did not get many in, I went in one and the guy told me "we sold out" and told me they didn't have many. He did say "I can't tell you how many we got in", I have no idea why that is some big secret - but rather than chase the deal around town I just went home and ordered and saved gas money.

Went yesterday and did alright. Like others, no land packs. The manager checked and said they were in transit, and I said to him nice that they have them on sale yet still hadn't sent them any. They also did not have any posters, but that's not surprising. They got the 1st of the 3 part posters last fall and have not gotten any of the posters since then. My store had a bunch of the powder blues. When he was looking for the land packs he said they had two more boxes in the back and they were pretty much all the new blues. I had a pop fizz still in the pack that I hadn't given to my grandson yet, so I took it with me and talked to the managers and he said he'd refund it as long as it was still in the pack even though we didn't buy it from there. So I got $12.99 back for him, and bought the pop fix combo for $12.49. I also picked up the roller brawl combo and shield striker (have been waiting on a bogo sale to get it) and got a powder blue gold rush for free. So I got 2 drivers and 4 vehicles for $29.66 including the return.

We ended up at all 3 Gamestops in our town over the last 3 days. One had an abundance of Land Racing Action Packs. I was informed by one they only got one each of the Power Blues. We ended up getting the pack and PB DDTH. We got another Smash Hit that my son is going to make a PB Smash Hit. We had gotten several others over the last week. Got a poster yesterday too! Been a good week! Have had a blast with Superchargers!

Oh, it was quite obvious how many power blues they got in. Just check the online inventory tracker thing and if they say "low stock", then that means they only got one in. All of my Gamestops within 100 miles had this shown for PB Splat the day before the sale, so obviously they were all sent only one. Not surprisingly, she sold out at all 6 of my local Gamestops and I'd have to travel some 40 miles to get one today (assuming she's really there).

Oddly they only had one single pack Roller Brawl at my store as well. They never had her in before as I've been watching for one at all my local stores. I believe that these later wave figures are being treated like an obscure Vita or 3DS game where they only get one per store. Obviously they do not expect for them to sell very well or they would have shipped loads of them out at a time.

One thing I thought was weird about the online stock thing, Spring Ahead Dive Bomber shows "In Stock" for every location near me, however, only certain stores have 1 and the rest NONE! I always went by "Low Stock" means 1 left, but they've gone and screwed that up too.

I was told that if it's on reserve for someone, then it will still show up on the website. Last year one of the stores near me got hit with lots of calls for the one Kaos trap they got in because someone reserved it first but they waited until late at night to pick it up. You can tell that it's on reserve because you will not be allowed to reserve it for yourself online.

There are other reasons as well. There could be a few people reserving figures to cause what you see. The other reason is that someone had stolen the figures off of the shelf. They take inventory once a week (or so I'm told) and it could take a while to correct phantom inventory. Or they may have some in the back and never bothered to put them out. Sometimes if they have too many figures and no space, then they won't bother to put more out front.

Basically whenever in doubt, call them up or ask in person to see what's going on. Sometimes if they are really nice, they'll ship a figure from one local store to another. Probably not so much during a discount sale, but in general they will exchange stuff from one store to another.

I have been talking with many employees about things along those lines. I even spoke with them about SADB, but the online stock is just wrong for this one.

edit: just checked today, and it looks like they figured it out. Now it shows only some stores having low stock. Wonder what that was all about?

The 2 GS stores I went to only had one of each PB in. The 1st store didn't have any Racing packs and the 2nd had two. I didn't see any posters, but didn't really care about them. Pretty much typical for a Skylanders day at GS.

I will say one thing; less figures was a great choice because now I feel like I can actually "complete" my collection. All these fire sales are great for someone like me who decided against buying anything on launch day for the last few years. And really, unless you're a superfan or really excited about the new game, why would you? The games will be on sale less than a month later for Black Friday and moving into the new year they may be 50% off or more.

As for Gamestop, I actually hadn't even heard about the sale until a friend texted me about it after I had already checked out at TRU with a full set of the Power Blues. If anyone is looking for them still or they didn't pick them up at their store, TRU might have them. I've seen a couple of conflicting reports of stuff being on sale there, might be a store by store basis but mine was Buy One, Get one 50% on all SC figures/vehicles.

Gamestop still has the Power Blues online, but they really are just shipping them from the stores that still have them in stock - they were sent two from one store, two from another. I ordered a set on discount Saturday, they arrived today - but sent me 2 Splats and no Trigger Happy - took a half hour on the phone for them to set up to send the right one. And since they come from the stores, they more than likely have price stickers on them - so be aware.

You take off price stickers by putting a few drops of zippo lighter fluid on them just enough to cover the sticker let set 5 mins then peel off the sticker from a corner and there you go. A few drops in center of sticker then rotate it to cover the sticker in a circle. It took mine right off so it works. I been using this method for years to take stickers off of my figures.

I use a sharp knife to ease it off slowly, then cleaned up the residue (not much left) with some Goo Gone (just as effective and smells much better - and for much less time than lighter fluid). The advantage with these is the stickers are new, so don't take much to remove. Once they have been on a while it becomes much more difficult.
