So a Spanish McDonalds has their toys up for this month. What do you know, it's Skylanders. YAY!

I've shared this on 2 pages on Facebook, and a friend linked me to another where someone else has posted it but I noticed it wasn't posted here so I thought I'd do it

HOT STREAK

Haha always thought they looked weird but they definitely hit it this year with the deformed looks. Should've just done the Vehicles and then Characters, lol.

They sure look funny. I personally don't like to buy those since I will buy the game's toys, that, let's all agree, have better quality as a whole.

They look pretty terrible, plus the color's aren't even right on some of them. Look at that Shark Tank.

Grumble, another line of Skylanders toys from our number-one artery plugger.

The Splat and Spitfire ones look appealing for a McD's toy, but alas, all of these are basically the real ones, moving parts and everything, but with much lower jauntiness. I mean wow, am I seeing the offspring of Stealth Elf and Boomer in the Stinger?

Its MCD they look crappy as usual, but Ill give you that that they do look extra crappy. They prob should have did half skylanders alone and half of the vehicles alone but oh well.

Either way i'll prob pick these up, now to just find a mcdonalds that sells them all alone at once on the cheap when they come out.

I would buy these toys if they do extra stuff in the main game.

Forgive me, I did grab the pictures of a Spanish McDonalds but the first 2 were taken from another site and I didn't realise they were different as they seemed similar. Sorry

I wonder why they didn't use the same colors they used on Terrafin for the rest of the Shark Tank.

Jet-Vac and Spitfire look the best, in my opinion, but they're still not very good.

Oh wow, they've included some good characters for once. I think Splat looks the best. I'd like to get these but I'm sure they'll only release the 4 boys instead of the girls
If I'm lucky they'll all be available here because they're in Italy...
Oh and @ UncleBob, they are Supercharged, take a close look at the mods.

Splat is literally the only accurate one with a complex color scheme oh my god
Spitfire and Gills are kinda right, but the colors are blocky and Reef Ripper is supercharged when some others aren't...?

Nightfall being green doesn't surprise me, Racing has her straight up purple and I think someone just looked at her jacket, but the rest of Sea Shadow has no excuse.

ENOUGH. WITH. VEHICLES.

Now, that being said I understand it must have been easier and more convenient for them to create combos instead of separate figures but still... If I see another Gill Grunt in any form, this year, I swear my S1 will pay the price.

I cannot complain about the figures since they are exactly what I expected from McDonalds toys.
The problem is when some of the game's figures get near that quality...

I actually kind of like them.

Their definitely a major step-down from last year, but I still think these are pretty cool. I might pick up a few. I'm really liking some of them, especially Hot Streak and Shark Tank.

I have to say, even though it couldn't be more wrong, Shark Tank's color scheme looks quite cool, like some sort of variant.

The messed up colors are expected from Mcdonald's, really. I think Splat is the most decent here, and the Jet-Vac and Spitfire are kind of alright.
I actually want to get a couple of these, tbh. It's unlikely that it will be possible though, as here in the UK they never have Skylanders in Mcdonald's. D:

Back in my day, Happy Meal Toys used to be fully-fledged, quality action figures!

Oh man some work in that seam in the middle and you could pass this off as official merch. Way better than the DI figure imho, too.

The Pokémon figures are still alright,but being simple designs with no textures it takes real laziness to screw them up. Everything else,eugh.

Aww, they are so cuuuuute! Even the crappy looking ones like Nightfall are charming in their own way.

I'm totally in for a set of these, but I won't buy them at McDonalds. I'll get them at the garage sales, as they are always plenty there, half the time still in their baggies. People were giving the Trap Team ones to me for free, that's how much anyone cared about them. I ended up several extras of a few characters and never needing to buy a single crappy meal for the last two years now. I really don't expect that to change for this year either.

Anyway, I'm totally loving the Splat and Roller Brawl. I mean of course they are going to look cheap, it's a free pack-in toy. We're lucky that they resemble the real things as much as they do. But really, isn't it such a cute Splat!?! I'll pick up every one of her that I come across for sure. WROOM!

You know, the way SuperChargers is selling, they could give away a free starter packs to every 10th child or something. Do anything to get them hooked onto the series. LOL Seriously, I cannot figure out why McDonalds always get these things at the very end of the series year. It would make more sense within the first month or so, right? At this point would the adversing actually get anyone to buy SuperChargers? Seems a bit pointless right now.

McD toys in the last like 3 years have been absolute garbage right? Like Chinese Knockoff tier or stuff I wouldn't even send to goodwill tier.

Wonder when/if we're getting these? Right now they're doing Transformers, next is Barbie/DC Hot Wheels which should last into late April. Maybe June/July promos?

These MC Donalds toys are so stupid... its like they don't even know what to give kids so lets just throw even more horibble looking plastic child-made Skylanders toys at them.

Splat looks acceptable.

Meh, the only happy meal toys I liked recently were the Pokemom toys. Those were the best of 2015, lol. And they're my favorite set of happy meal toys for the Pokemon McDonalds series.

I think it depends on the license. Most are cheap, but there are a few that come out that look good. The best ones have always been those that were owned by Disney. My son would never eat McDonalds, but when they had Marvel figures several years ago, those things were awesome. The Hulk was huge! That got him going there. I think Disney put up a lot of extra money to make the toys look good, which is why their licensed toys were always the best. But Disney stopped dealing with McDonalds because they are "unhealthy", and ended up going with Subway. But all we get there are those stupid bags. Some of the bigger licenses at McDonalds looks good, but I think it all depends on how much money the licensee wants to spend on making the toys. Any of them are better than the junk Wendy's gives out, though. Although, they have had some good stuff from Dreamworks...again probably because they put up the money. I don't think it's up to McDonalds as much as the licensee, as they're probably the ones who spend the money to make them.

In Australia we can just pay $2 -$2.50 for the toy without the meal. I have done that with previous Skylanders Happy Meal toys.

We're able to do that too, but I've paid between $1.50-$1.95.

Someone put up a video showcasing the figures. I don't even know the language let alone what it means(would make an educated guess but I'd probably offend someone), so uh good luck if you're trying to see his opinions on them.

Because it's she and Spitfire the ones in Battlecast Cards to Life, calm down. You can get Spitfire's PDF for free in the official site if you don't want her. Doesn't seem like they work in the full game anyway.

I already have Spitfire and Stealth Elf cards from the Starter pack, its just annoying how when anything has a free battlecast card its stealth elf, is battlecast even in development? or is it cancelled.
