Honestly, just the concept of this topic brings a ton of relief to me.
I don't often actually post my thoughts in here, but I frequently find myself typing up long posts and even just that helps a ton - I type up a bunch of nonsensical jargon, collect myself while editing it and by the time I'm done I just delete it because I've already gotten everything off my chest and feel fine again. So glad this topic exists. c:

People like to praise how good I am at reading people, but when I'm with you it's like all of those praises just go out the window.

It feels like I'm lost in a foreign country with a small amount of knowledge of the language, and when I think I'm going the right way it turns out that I'm going in the complete and opposite direction. Or when someone who speaks english assures me that I am going the right way, but it just looks like I'm just going farther away from my destination.

I was actually just recently told by someone WHY exactly I was intimidating:
"You speak authoritively and you just give off a powerful vibe."

I guess it's nice to have some social power but I can't help but feel uncomfortable when someone reminds me that they are intimidated by my presence, since it's almost like they find me offensive.
