Never was much into Deadpool, but this movie has won me over to the franchise. It's basically the the Conker's Bad Fur Day of superhero movies. I'm expecting lots of angry parents to come out of the woodwork once they find out that little Johnny got an eyeful of hot stripper boobies.

Except that, y'know, as part of the film's viral marketing, Deapool put out multiple messages across social media telling parents "This is an R-rated movie don't bring your kids along because I don't want to hear you complain."

The youngest people I saw there were, like, 13 or 14 and they didn't seem to care. <.<;

I've already seen posts online of people saying they saw parents with kids as young as 7 going to see the movie.
The viral marketing made a deal of it being for adults only but people can still think it's just another Marvel superhero movie (tv commercials weren't that lewd were they?).

Your movie theatre should of not allowed them in the movie then, that could be breaking the law.

Also Deadpool was pretty fun.

At least in the US, someone under 17 can see a rated R film so long as they're accompanied with someone 17+.

NC-17 is the rating where you're not allowed under any circumstances. But I don't even remember the last time a film released with that rating since it's a death sentence marketing wise.

I still need to go watch it :I My country is full of semi-illiterate teens who complained about not being able to read subs and watch at the same time to no end, so now the only times with english subs are super finnicky - always super late or super early,so getting some spare time to go watch it is really hard.

I do want to see it before it's finished in the theaters but I'm not sure given I am pretty busy lately.

If it's still in my local theaters next weekend I can probably go with friends.

Update, managed to get a good time and subbed, movie was awesome.

Someone brought their 5 year old in though. Not many times actually make me want to do physical violence as seeing them casually discussing the movie with the kid. You can tell me all the excuses that they might've not found someone to leave the kid,but go one at a time, don't watch it this week; but of course it's too much of a hassle to keep your kid far from gore and sex.
