-__- why would I PAY to watch youtube premium content when I can donate that money to youtubers that have streams where you can donate? Only 2 shows on Youtube red actually look remotely funny, and that is the "I am Tobuscus" and "Scare Pewdiepie" ones. Doubt it is worth the 10$ a month

Even with that GPM subscription, I wouldn't go for Youtube Red as I don't listen to music often and $10 for some original videos from people I barely watch doesn't appeal to me. They should really focus on fixing their copyright system and other stuff but oh well, people who like YTR's perks should enjoy it in general.

Saving videos is pretty nice. And as free on mobile is convenient.

The only reason I'd even CONSIDER YouTube Red is for Lazer Team, and even then, I could just wait for it to come out on DVD in the RT store.

tobuscus still exists?

YouTube Red is excellent for mobile users (like myself) and nobody else. When you're tethered to desktop/laptops, you're not getting much appeal from it.

That doesn't make sense since there's third party converters out there so even without Red people will find a way to download that vocaloid music (especially if the artist doesn't bother with Bandcamp and makes it difficult to find and purchase).

All they'll accomplish is less exposure outside of more dedicated fans. Good job.

Actually, from what I read it still isn't available in every country and mostly just the US, so a number of videos with origins from other countries (such as Japan) are automatically getting blocked by a region-lock as the user can't confirm the new TOS at this time. Proof that these region-blocks are from Red is because videos that use to be viewable such as certain Vocaloid songs and certain Japanese Vevos are now getting the region block. DC's not complaining about downloads so much as not being able to even watch the videos he wants. I've run into alot as well while trying to listen to music by the Japanese group Kalafina.

Really, it's causing more problems than it's helping. I also read that ESPN had to shut down all of their channels as their contracts directly prohibit putting their content behind a paywall such as Red.

As someone that doesn't use Spotify or Apple Music, I pay for YouTube Red. Background play on anything is fantastic!!

To me Pewdiepie really lost his charm, Toby he's okay but I am having a hard time enjoying his content. Personally I think it's because I found other lets' players that are playing games that I commonly play, or have a better sense of humor. Or it's that I found better humor in some critics like MysteriousMrEnter or Nostalgia Critic. But that's just me. Also why pay for an app when you can still watch videos for free without it?

Meh, I don't really have a problem with it. Like many other users have pointed out, there's not much there that you can't get on YouTube for free, but at least it's optional. If Google started forcing it on us like some other things it has *cough*Google+*cough* THEN I'd have a problem.

As for Pewdiepie, his other channel (aka his girlfriend's channel where he guest stars a lot in) is where the really good stuff is found. Stuff like them playing Jenga and doing science kits are surprisingly better then the games Felix plays now.
