Wonder Woman is hot as hell.

Read that as BS. Thought it was going to be about politics.

I still don't like it.
Wonder Woman would be the only reason I'd even think about seeing this.

Really hyped to see this. I'm not really digging how much this trailer (and past others) seem to portray Superman as an afterthought villain to beat up when he really shouldn't be. If anything that might be a sign that they should've done a standalone Batman film to introduce him before running off and making this film and using it as a platform to introduce Batman, several Justice League members, Lex, and now apparently Doomsday all at once.

There's so many potential problems with this film and so many ways it can go wrong. Why am I still excited?

We're getting a Justice League movie next year, with will feature Cyborg.....and then Cyborg gets his own movie in 2020.

I think that's a very stupid move. Clearly they're just trying to beat Avengers Infinity War.


Plus why do I need to wait 4 years for one of my favorite DC super heros to get his own movie, when he gets a role in another movie three years prior? I WANT A CYBORG MOVIE NOW!

You'd think by now, someone would've shot Batman in the mouth where he's not armored, right? And why even pull a knife on Batman? Are you asking to die?

Way better trailer than the previous ones. I'm actually getting hyped.


I still wish we'd at least gotten a Batman movie first, though. The whole "I've been fighting crime for too long" thing doesn't have nearly as much impact when we haven't even seen this version of Batman fight crime at all before. Nor does the crossover factor have as much impact since this Batman is technically just a spinoff of Superman's story.

Couldn't they have made a Batman movie in the years since Man of Steel? Marvel and Fox have both been able to put out new superhero movies every year. What's holding DC up?

I think they're just playing catch up in general, not necessarily to beat Infinity War to the punch.

Personal theory is that it's because DC is gearing up for such a schedule as we speak. I definitely think that we should've gotten a solo Batman film and maybe a Man of Steel 2 before we got a Batman v Superman, but you can tell that they're in a rush to catch up with Marvel and their Cinematic Universe and throw a Justice League film out there ASAP.

I mean it's not like DC isn't gonna just slouch. Their upcoming schedule includes two films a year, not too far off from Marvel Studios. But because they're so late to the party (maybe Green Lantern was their first attempt to start such a thing but it bombed so they had to start over) they're putting it on fast forward and intend to start us off with Justice League before we even get solo films for many of the heroes.

Warner had to spend time waiting since Green Lantern failed and Nolan wasn't done with his Dark Knight Trilogy (which we all know wouldn't have gone into the DCEU) and now they want to hurry up and make some money before the bubble bursts and people experience burnout on superhero films.
