Also may I remind you you're just 10 and many people can argue that you shouldn't even be dating at that age (kinda me included) let alone talking about love as if you know the whole thing. There are people older than all of us here that are still learning what it really means, and the definition changes over time and varies from person to person (for now you might think it's that feeling of a crush; later on it might be the comfort of having someone there).

Slow your roll. Nothing wrong with you having a crush or strong feelings for someone but you're moving way too fast and seem to think that you know exactly what it's all about when we (many of us double your age) still don't.

Eevee, I hate to be brutal, but relationships aren't as easy as TV or anime make them out to be. They take time and patience and they don't always work out in the end. You really need to slow down and enjoy your childhood while you can. I mean, you're going to be in High School before you know it. Why waste your time trying to find a boyfriend, when you've got time to play and not have to worry about school or finding a job. Sure you can still have a crush on someone..but..wait until you're 13 to get into a serious relationship with someone.

If in a few years you're still together and things are more serious then i'll admit i got it wrong, but at the moment it's just a 10 year old crush.

I think i speak for the older members when i say that we've all been there and at the time we thought it would last forever, but it doesn't.

Hold on for a minute, let's break this down a bit..
You said love is just pain disguised as happiness, love can be painful but love is complicated so is it just painful? No, love is beautiful as well.
Breaking up with someone you love can hurt but did the relationship have trust? No trust, No relationship, always remember that.
Just because someone is in a relationship with someone else, doesn't mean you can't love them, you just can't be in love with them.
Not being interested in you doesn't mean you still can't be their friend.
Love isn't a useless feeling at all, just like all emotions we need love in our lives.
You must pursue love, everyone needs love.
What I'm getting at is, just because a relationship ends for whatever reason, you can't just give up on love. You'll find that special someone and they will love you, they'll help mend your broken heart and you will be happy again.

I at times question the validity of "Love" because of this, no joke.

It makes me wonder if people truly love and care for each other at all, or if its all just in our heads and we're full of crap because of it.

And not just with romantic love either, any kind of "love" really.

Just not the kind of love that has you going out of your way for strangers and doing things for them, thats the only kind of "love" I have never questioned.

Of course I'm not outright saying "love is fake", just that I've questioned it myself a little bit is all.

I think that the concept of love is actually lost on most people these days.

Even the most basic level of love seems too difficult.
