Yea. I'm also wondering. Probably at TRU. That's the only good place to get stuff.

Don't give up to soon. Maybe the Wave 3 combo packs are simply arriving late. Who knows? Maybe we'll just have to wait and see. Also, those who want to know the release dates can check it out here - http://skylanderscharacterlist...release-dates/.

They come out Feb 5th in Italy. There is a chance that we will still see them.

The consensus among Skylanders veterans and "insiders" is that (for unknown reasons) Activision chooses to NOT distribute multi-character Skylanders packs (double, combo, triple, etc.) to USA markets after Christmas. It has been a consistent pattern, for several consecutive years, that although early wave multi-packs do go to USA retailers, the later wave multi-packs only get distributed to Australia and (usually) Europe.
This is not a hard-and-fast rule, but it is an established trend. It might change this year, but the odds have that it won't change. Some speculate that Activision does this because shipping to Australia and some parts of Europe is (comparatively) expensive, so it's more efficient to ship multi-packs to those markets, rather than single packs. Some speculate that Activision does this simply to generate artificial scarcity of certain packs, or possibly to "throw a bone" to the foreign markets, which often have to wait for newly released stuff after it is already available in the USA. Some speculate that USA retailers do not want the later-wave multi-packs, because the early wave multi-packs often do not sell well (relative to singles), and they also take up more physical space in the store display. If I was at Activision, I might consider at least distributing the multi-packs to Amazon, even if the brick-and-mortar retailers don't want multi-packs. Bottom line is that we don't know. But, if you have your heart set on any multi-packs, your best bet (I think) is to make friends with a Skylanders fan in Europe or (preferably) Australia, and be prepared to help each other out (including paying trans-Pacific shipping, which is at least $25 for a one pound box; probably somewhat less for trans-Atlantic) by swapping stuff that is not released in the other fan's home market. You could also try using the Amazon websites that are based in Germany or Italy, using a website translator like Google Translate. You will have to pay international shipping still, and sometimes US customs will delay your package's arrival significantly. The only time I tried this was for Scarlet Ninjini a few years ago, and the package was delayed over a month at US customs, and it arrived to my house waterlogged and pretty much destroyed. That said, mine is just one experience, and I know others have had problem-free experiences with European shipping. Hope this helps.

lots of good info. i was just hoping for the double packs to save a little bit of money vs buying the same figures as singles, but if what your saying it true im better off waiting for another deal to come around and just buy the singles.

Don't wait too long, Wave 4 is notoriously short shipped historically. I think TRU has a B1G1 40% off right now. If you want the figures don't wait too long or you might regret it. You would actually save more this way for getting a figure and a vehicle than getting a dual pack at regular price ($25.38 vs. $25.99). |

Damn, and I have been holding out for the Rollerbrawl and Pop Fizz for their respective 2pks. Here's hoping for another Gamestop BOGO free sale.

I agree with defpally above. If you want Wave 4 and/or Wave 5 stuff from any Skylanders series, never try to "wait it out" for the best deal.
Past experience has shown us that (except for Ninjini, who is still available everywhere, it seems) late-wave releases disappear from retail shelves very quickly, and often never return. There are LOTS of past examples to support this: Echo, Blackout, Spotlight, Fling Kong, Scratch, Punk Shock, Flip Wreck, Lightcore Chill, Lightcore Pop Fizz, Stink Bomb, Series 1 Wham-Shell ... The time to seek out your "deals" on Skylanders is the last quarter of the year, when Wave 1 and Wave 2 stuff is abundant in stores, and the retailers are competing for your winter holidays budget. But "deal seeking" is usually a bad strategy in the first & second quarter of the following year, if you are a collector and/or seeking specific figurines that were not part of Wave 1 or 2. For Wave 4 & 5 stuff, get them while you can, or you will most likely be paying eBay prices later.

I agree with both above me, wave 4 and 5 usually come pretty short. If you see them it's good to just pick them up. U can always return them if you dont open them if a better deal comes along at your fav store. I picked up bone vehicle and hot rod yesterday for my son, got the last 2 they had. Manaager of toys said they had no more as he put them out himself this past weekend. Going try another store sometime this week for my 2. As for the double packs, they might still come here. If we don't see them by mid march then id def worry abt them not coming. I however wouldnt wait or delay on them coming and pick up the singles just to be sure. |

Alphawolf!
Good news? It appears we may have been wrong about the Wave 3 combo packs, maybe?! Will need to see a few more confirmations first, but it is at least possible that these combo packs will NOT be only for Europe and Australia this time around https://www.facebook.com/longs...f_t=photo_reply

I got a BB Pop Fizz/Soda Skimmer combo pack at Target today. No Roller Brawl combo, so I headed over to TRU and an employee said they haven't gotten them there yet, but he had seen the Roller Brawl combo at Target.
