Got my Lucas amiibo today. It's no actual Mother 3 release, but it's still nice. XP

I still am not too far into STEAM, but after just getting Tom, I feel Lucina is the best character in the game. Her bow can snipe practically halfway across most maps then her Falchion let's her do Lion's jump letting you reach all the hard to reach spots and get those elusive gears. She's going on my team every time.

^Lucina is a monster most of the time but she suffers from a lack of over watch and her Nidhogg is not great on the indoor maps. Her special is a bit jank too.

Robin is the real OP character.

-Long ranged explosive that has overwatch, only costs 3 Steam.
-Weapon that stuns.
-Boosts Critical Hit rate of entire party.
-Long ranged, piercing special.

Seriously he's crazy good.

Oh I noticed when i used him to take out a couple of those high up monsters on those canons. He's staying on my team as well, but I still quite enjoy Lucina's snipe. I try to get her as high as I can, have her take out pretty much everything then the rest of the party just picks up coins and walks to the base cleaning up whatever she couldn't get.

I really want to take them to PAX this weekend if there's any amiibo battles happening, but I'm afraid they will break or someone might steal them. But if I had to choose one amiibo to take out of all of mine, I would take my Bowser called "Hell Fire" as he's my strongest that Stocks other amiibo.

GameStop and Argos didn't have him. And he isn't listed on the Smyths website, but I didn't know that.

But I ran into a college mate by chance and I walked around town with him for a bit. He was heading towards a place near Smyths though, so when he went there to get picked up, I decided to go into Smyths and they had at least 8 of Lucas.

So I got lucky with this one, I wouldn't have went out there if I had seen the website beforehand.

Etika and his girlfriend got FANTASTIC looking custom amiibos, and it's honestly really adorable.

I just got an SSB Link amiibo today and I'm really admiring the detail on it. It's looks exquisite compared to the other TtL figures. For a while I was thinking that the Amiibo designs were really spot-on. I also like how they design some of them more unique than Disney Infinity and Skylanders, like the 3-D pixel Mario figures and the Yoshi's Wooly World ones. I have one of each and love them.

I also found a Shovel Knight amiibo today, the worker at the EB Games I went to said they get one or two of them, but sell out very quickly. But I didn't bother to get it because of the price and that I don't play Shovel Knight, which I should. Speaking of which, I'm uncertain about this, but is there a Shovel Knight costume for Super Mario Maker? That's my only Amiibo game.

Was anyone at PAX South this weekend? They were selling amiibo at one booth, and though some had outrageously high prices, they were actually selling Series 3 amiibo cards for $5.00!

I live in San Antonio and most conventions that I've been to sell Amiibo for outrageous prices.

I live in SA too . This was my first convention, but I've heard they jack the prices up on everything. I saw one booth today selling Gold Mario for $35, and I thought that was pricey until I saw another right behind it selling it for $80. However, I couldn't resist buying an amiibo souvenir, so I bought a Mii Swordfighter and a pack of amiibo cards, plus some doge stuff.
...don't ask.

Cheap bootlegs are common at cons. That price is kind of in that "too good to be true" territory, so it might have been a bootleg.

There is no known bootleg of Figma Link. Myfigurecollection.net keeps a good track of that kind of stuff. Sometimes you just get lucky.

Plus I got my Sayaka Miki Figma at the same booth for around 30, so I just got lucky on both.

I was at GameStop to get the Mew codes and also picked up a Color Shift Wash Buckler, but the guy at the counter said it was buy 2, get three free for used figures. So I also picked up Toad, Luigi, Yoshi, and Bowser. All Mario Series ones.

Mega yarn yoshi's CPISA got an extrea month. restock incoming.

Someone should do a game run where they use only pokemon from their amiibo to beat the elite four and champion.

Picked up Link today. Now I have Link, Ganon, and Sheik all ready for Twilight Princess HD.

I'm done with amiibo now. Since the Smash set is done, so am I.

I had a remarkable stroke of luck and picked up the last Jigglypuff and Lucario at a Toys R Us. Everywhere else in town was sold out of them.
I certainly didn't mean to collect every Pokemon, but somehow I did. And all at or less than MSRP too.

-Putting the Fox Amiibo in Star Fox Zero turns the Arwing into one from Star Fox for SNES!



-Wave 4 of the Animal Crossing cards will be released June 10th, and the Isabelle (Summer Outfit) figure will be released June 10th.



-Kirby Planet Robobot is amiibo compatible with multiple different figures including the SSB line Kirby, Mario, and Link figures which give Kirby specific power ups when put in the game. Along with them are a new Kirby set of Amiibo including Kirby, Dedede, Meta Knight, and Waddle Dee.





-Mini Mario & Friends: Amiibo Challenge will be given as early access on March 25th when you buy an amiibo from Best Buy, Gamestop, or Amazon. The game itself will be released for free on April 28th.
