~Pokémon of the Day~

The game of chance where you attempt to predict the next Pokémon of the Day
based on its given Generation and (one of) its Type(s)!


/Rule 1/ With each picture, I will tell you one of the next PotD's types along with its Generation, and you will attempt to guess which Pokémon it is.

/Rule 2/ You can change your guess at any time before the next PotD is posted. It will be posted at any time from 12:00 AM to 11:59 AM EST/EDT.

/Rule 3/ You can only have one guess per PotD, and there must be 3 guesses on a PotD prior to the next one being posted.

/Rule 4/ If a Pokémon has multiple forms, you must give a specific one, because one day could be Landorus Incarnate Forme and another could be Landorus Therian Forme. Castform, Deoxys, Burmy, Wormadam, Shellos, Gastrodon, Rotom, Giratina, Shaymin, Basculin, Deerling, Sawsbuck, Tornadus, Thundurus, Landorus, Kyurem, Keldeo, Meloetta, Greninja, Flabébé, Floette, Florges, Zygarde, Hoopa, Lycanroc, Oricorio, Minior, and Wishiwashi are the Pokémon with Forms that must be specified. If a Pokémon has an alternate form that is unobtainable until a later Generation, that form will be considered the Generation of the game it is first obtainable in.

/Rule 5/ Megas, Primals, and Regional Variants will also have their own PotDs. Each will belong to the Generation they were introduced in, rather than the Generation of their base Pokémon.

/Rule 6/ If a Pokémon has major gender differences, you must also give a specific gender. One day may be Male Pyroar and another may be Female Pyroar. Nidoran, Unfezant, Frillish, Jellicent, Pyroar, and Meowstic are the Pokémon with genders that must be specified.

/Rule 7/ Since Pokémon are sometimes retyped, a Pokémon will always be counted as its most up-to-date type. For example, Wash Rotom is Electric/Water and Gardevoir is Psychic/Fairy.

/Rule 8/ After this game is over when all the Pokémon have been a Pokémon of the Day, the top 5 scorers will win something special. The five places will be the Gold Medal, Silver Medal, Bronze Medal, Copper Medal, and Dirt Medal. If there is a tie between any given medal placing, there will be a tiebreaker. The loser will be pushed down one place, pushing down everyone below them as well.

If you guess it correctly, a point will be added to your score and your username will be listed alongside the picture to notify you.
