I just got back into the game.

The Doctor Who level is SCARY.

I'm waiting on a good sale to get Cyberman and the Venkman pack.

Has anyone been experiencing their games freezing on them?

I play on Wii U BTW.

All the time. Literally the first time was when I played and got to literally the first save point in the entire game.

Yep, same console too. It only happens when I enter the TARDIS or the Doctor regenerates though.

Yeah, these seem to be the leading causes for me to, but it seems to freeze a lot when I fly as the wicked witch or wonder woman.

I don't think I've ever played a LEGO game that hasn't frozen on me at least once. It's a common problem across literally all of the games across all gaming platforms.

LEGO Dimensions is actually on the lower end of the freezing list for me. Has only happened once as far as I can remember. :P

It's weird how my first and only LD freeze was during my first play session of the game, in the first level, Wizard of Oz, when you had to use Wyldstyle to locate parts on the way to the Witch's castle, after the tree.

I was thinking "Oh god no, I paid $110 for this glorious innovative game"

I just had a thought (mainly because I want to keep this thread alive): Since the game is supposed to get content updates for a couple years, do you think we'll eventually see Lord Vortech as a playable character? I mean, the main antagonists have been playable in LEGO games before, and he could be the first playable character to be 100% original, not based on any pre-existing properties.

Observation IO have made testing characters out today: Sensei Wu sound like himself at all. Seriously, did the VA in the show die or something? (yes, I have seen the show, don't judge me )

The recording for the Ninjago series was done in Canada, so they used Canadian VAs. Since the recording for the game was done in the US, they used American VAs.

At the bottom of this it mentioned that Vincent Tong(VA of Kai in the series) wasn't contacted to reprise his role.

I think it's more that Ninjago is considered too low profile to be worth the effort. They managed to get the Doctor Who actors in from Britain to do their voices, after all.

Exactly. I love how they actually made him regenerate, and how you can even access the TARDIS interior, instead of only being able to fly it around.

However, I think they may not have actually tried to get as many doctors as they could, because I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that David Tennant is boing an audio series, so I think it's pretty unlikely he would refuse. But then again, their budget probably couldn't handle having the other doctors actually record new audio

Do we actually know the release date for wave 5? TRU lists Bane as coming out on May 10th with Lloyd coming out on the 31st (Slimer isn't in the site yet), Amazon lists all of wave 5 as the 31st, and gamestop lists it all for the 10th. Doest anyone know the ACTUAL release date for these characters?

Good ****ing God, I hatter midway arcade level. I'm stuck at the part where you have to race the cars in the one mini game, but my car goes the opposite way I tell it to, and it's impossible to win. Can anybody tell me how to actually beet the stupid thing?

I'll get Stay Puft this friday. Then i'll buy Slimer in may... then i'm done. I haven't played this game in MONTHS. i'm just gonna sell the starter and the 3 figures from the starter, and keep Benny, Krusty, Slimer, and Stay Puft.

If anyone is on the fence about this excellent - and lengthy - TTL game, I'd jump on it this week.

If one is a Gamers Club unlocked member, you can get the starter for around 52 bucks, all 24 fun packs for around 156 bucks, all level packs for around 103 bucks, and all team packs for around 65 bucks. That's around 376 dollars for everything released currently.

That's not a bad deal for a game that takes over 100 hours to complete, 2401 lego pieces total in 41 figures and 45 vehicles/gadgets.

Heck the first Skylanders costed more to get 37 figures.

Sorry for the double post, but as I stated I helped my neighbor buy everything from Best Buy since it's all on sale, then used my GCU to save an additional 20%. One of his receipts said he saved 394 bucks, lol. He spent 357.92 after tax for the starter and all of waves 1, 2, 3 and 4. Not bad for a 100+ hour game and 2401 lego pieces.

Yes, I agree that this is a great game... when it isn't crashing. I can't play this game for more than an hour and a half without the whole thing crashing. I'm trying to 100% that level with the riddler, but I can't get past the second room without the whole game crashing. I have also got all four gold bricks on the portal level in story mode (it shows that I have rule breaker, ten mini kits, and a figure rescued), yet it only has 3/4 gold bricks on the level select. And I also have a glitch where in the scooby-doo world, I can't get into a sea race for gold bricks. This actually prevents me from being able to fully upgrade my figures, which is just garbage. I've never had this sort of problem with Skylanders. I've been playing since year one of Skylanders, and those maybe crashed on me three times.

The manager of my local EB Games recently came back from an event and confirmed the following:

• Marvel (now that DI is dead, it looks like a deal has been made. No mention of Star Wars but maybe next year?)
  
• Powerpuff Girls
  
• Female Ghostbusters
  
• Harry Potter (that was pretty much a given and, in all honesty, I perceive it either wasn't ready on time for the first game or they consciously held it back for better marketing/exposure)
  

The manager had to be careful as they had a NDA but alluded to TT getting the rights to many other interesting licenses.

Finally, I asked this in another thread, in a sibling forum, but what is the URL of the LD equivalent site for Dark Spyro?

I do not entirely believe you, but I would like to think that this is what would be going on! Do you have any other proof besides word of mouth?

Powerpuff Girls is the only real outside pick from that list, I would expect all the others to join LEGO at some point (though to see Marvel share a world with DC would be totally mind bending).

Nothing yet but I have full faith in this manager. They are a devotee of the TTL premise and just came back from a pre-E3 event. They were the one who told me about the SL/Amiibo cross-pollination last year, well before it was announced.
