A acquired my first dollar store skylander for $3. It's Zook by the way. It's funny too because for new at the dollar store is $3 while at my EB Games has $4 used SSA skylanders. However, the dollar store doesn't have much of a variety than the vast one at EB Games. Hope I can find Wham-Shell if he's still available new there. He's my last one to complete the SSA set.

Wait, how can it be a dollar store Skylander if it cost you $3? LOL Just teasing. Was it "Family Dollar" or "Dollar General" perhaps? At first I was tricked by those stores as I expected them to be like "Dollar Tree" which is a true dollar store. It's interesting to know that the inventory has trickled down to that low on the bottom of the retail chains. More like they made so many of the early figures that there is no end to them.

Just got Elite Eruptor! Finally have all the Trap Team Elites!

Got super lucky in my Gamestop dumpster diving last night. Usually I don't show the stuff off unless it has some Skylanders stuff in it. This time they tossed away 4 sets of the mini-comic! YAY

Perhaps the most amazing find was a single dollar bill in the trash among all the random papers they tossed away. I couldn't find anything wrong with it. LOL!

Most amusing was the graphic novel next to the Skylanders comics. It's personalized autographed and has a drawing inside. I guess an employee brought it in to read and it got chucked out. Oh well!

Did some glorious birthday shopping tonight. I got six good ones. Still have that motherlode, but it's all in one bin now and most of them are packaged.

Just found some Wave 3.5 items that just came out....

Vehicles (all single packs): Hot Streak, Soda Skimmer, Sun Runner and Tomb Buggy.

Got BBRB, Tomb Buggy and Soda Skimmer, along with Bubble Blast Pop Fizz.
No special sales, but who the heck knows when they'll come out with the combo packs.
Seen the first triple pack at Target (Fullerton, CA), but no where else.

Picked up Big Bubble Pop Fizz. Figured might as well not bother waiting for the wave 3 Triple Packs.

EDIT: Ordered the E3 Hot Streak today. Gonna search for Wave 4 tomorrow. If I do find it, I probably won't get all of it. I'm probably just gonna get Roller Bae and Tomb Buggy right off the bat. Maybe Soda Skimmer too.

EDIT: So I actual,y managed to get all of wave 4 that I needed! Roller Brawl, Tomb Buggy, Astroblast, Sun Runner, and Soda Skimmer.

Roller Brawl, Astroblast, Spitfire, and Hot Streak see to be in short supply, people. Get them while you can if you need them. Also, the Roller Brawls seem to have pretty subpar paint jobs.

Finally got Fire Bone Hot Dog at TRU, so now my Swap Force Collection is complete!

Got roller brawl today, after I had to grab it literally out of the box behind the counter because the helpful employee insisted they didn't have it.

I'm gonna start collecting Chase variants. However, I'm not gonna count them as part of my collection. They're gonna be like a separate collection of their own that I have no intention of completing. I'll buy them if I see them in stores and maybe order them online if I see them for real cheap. But I'm not gonna bother trying to complete my Chase variant collection as they are so rare and will be so much money if I try to get them all.

P.S. I checked on eBay to see what the most expensive Skylanders thing on the whole site. It's a normal PS4 Starter Pack for SuperChargers going for like $50,000. There's nothing significant about it at all, it's the exact same thing you get in stores for $75. :T

I might go to TRU today to get Metallic Shroomboom and Gill Grunt.

Picked up a used Color Shift Wash Buckler from GameStop while out getting my Mew codes.

So I've been organizing my collection lists and I decided to break down the remaining figures I need. I need 64 more, but I decided I need to go after the 9 easiest to get on that list first. The rest are expensive chase variants (aside from the remaining SC figures) that I probably won't even bother getting unless the price is very right. Turns out not all of them are so easy! I need to get Roller Brawl and Heavy Duty Sprocket to finish up the regular Swap Force collection, not too hard. Then I will need LightCore Star Strike and LightCore Legendary Grim Creeper, again not hard. I plan on getting those 4 from eBay as I've not been able to find them at TRU.

Next, I'll order Scarlet Ninjini, Nitro Magna Charge and Nitro Freeze Blade from eBay. That leaves 2 more... Which are LightCore Pop Fizz and LightCore Chill. Why in the heck are these two so expensive?? I am finding them on average for $25 each on eBay. Were they a limited release or something? I'm really hoping to find these mislabeled at used gaming stores as their non-LightCore counterparts... That's unlikely though!

The light cores you mentioned came out late in the games cycle and spoty at that.

The seller only wants $50 for the whole set so I jumped on it. I only need 2 light, 1 dark, 1 tech and 1 life to finish my collection (to have 1 trap for each villain). He wouldn't separate them but I'll take them all for that price!

That's a killer deal. I would have bought them in a second at that price! Sell me the rest! LOL!

Nightfall just arrived,working,a few plastic mistakes,but she's everything the gameplay videos made out to be in complex but fun. Also finally got some shelves and just gotta get them installed in my room, now finally I will have a place I'm not ashamed of taking a Collection photo of :U

I thought so too! I drove an hour to get them, but i needed to go to that city anyway for another errand. They had a ton of figures too, but wanted $400 for them! Those were way overpriced... They must have underestimated the value of traps. I think I'm going to sell the ones I don't need for sure and use that money to buy a couple cheaper variants.

I also snagged the Power A vehicle storage garage box at Best Buy for only $4.99. It appears that they are clearancing them out already.

They had BB Roller Brawl in the Supercharger combo pack at my store today, (finally) but I couldn't afford it so I had to buy Steel Plated Smash Hit, which had also only just released here. I'm not too happy with the paint job so it's kind of meh, but it's still okay. Nitro Soda Skimmer finally appeared too.

I got Spyro's Adventure 3DS for $8 used. It was the game only, as I already have a 3DS portal. I got the portal from the Giants 3DS starter pack three years ago, which was the first ever skylanders thing I've bought.

I don't plan to buy the later 3DS games, as it takes away the use of bringing your figures everywhere you go, which was what I liked about the early 3DS games, but the Tablet games made you do that. But did they bring that feature back in SSC Racing? I might get it when it goes lower in value.

Today I found the Heavy Duty Sprocket chase variant, Easter Bunny Trap, and Volcanic Vault.

Got Nitro Soda Skimmer at Target. I had to order it online to pick up at the store, no shipping. I'm going hunting for Splatter Splasher tomorrow and I hope I'm not too late. I forget the thread, but someone wrote about how we are not likely to see any triple pack #2 I had been holding out for. Would it be safe to hold out for at least the combo packs, or should I buy individuals for Roller Brawl and Tomb Buggy?

I just got Skylanders SuperChargers - Dark Edition Starter Pack from BestBuy. I finally have every Skylander game at the moment. The other titles I have are for the Nintendo Wii & WiiU so this is the first time I bought one for another console outside of Nintendo and I got to say, I'm loving this game very much~

I got the last Bone Bash Roller Brawl at Target today, and it was 50% off with the cartwheel app.

I bought the Tomb Buggy and Soda Skimmer singles on Amazon today. I also preordered the Land Action Racing Pack also on Amazon today. They all should come on Feb 22- Feb 26

Today I went to TRU and found Eggcited Thrillipede. It was B0G0 50%, so I also picked up a Metallic Shroomboom for my Chase Variant collection.

So my SuperChargers Save File got corrupted/deleted recently. I was upset and not motivated enough to complete it again. Good move on my part. Today the Wii U Dark Edition dropped to $33 on Amazon. Let me repeat. THIRTY-THREE. DOLLARS. Naturally I placed an order for it. I saved more than the price of a regular Starter Pack and payed less than the price of a Racing Action Pack! What a steal! Not only is it on a more advanced console with better graphics than XBox 360, but I'll be getting 4 new Skylanders (or Dark variants, at least). It's supposed to arrive this Sunday. The only repeat in that will be the Kaos Trophy. Anyone know if GameStop accepts used Trophies?

Just picked Fire Bone the last charcter in my SSF set to complete and Eons Elite for 17 dollars

My Dark Edition for Wii U came in today. Of course, it came with Darl DK, Barrel Blaster, Spitfire, Hot
Streak, and a second Kaos Trophy I don't need. Spent all of today playing SuperChargers, as I need to now complete it again since my XBox 360 save file corrupted. The graphics are so much better, and Bowser and DK are SO MUCH FUN.

And, to my surprise, there was a Dark Stealth Elf wrapped up in bubble wrap inside the packaging! VV really pushed to make sure everyone got Stealth Elf, huh. Not complaining, I got an extra unexpected Skylander I was missing. Plus, that extra Stealth Elf pushed my collection completion percent to just over 93%.

Got these two today at Walmart

So I picked up the power blues at walmart on the way home from work. Also had a nice suprise a little box from activision was waiting for me at home.

Just found a bronze tomb buggy at Walmart!...my third variant find in store. Feeling lucky!

Congrats on finding the Power Blues and even BIGGER congrats on the Yawn Traps. I got mine a few months ago, but they are being stingy in handing them out! What'd you get yours for?

Went to GameStop for the last Spring Ahead Dive Bomber and saw a Blastermind for $7.99. I guess they had it half-off or a BOGO half off, so he only cost less than $4.00. He is SOOOO awesome!

Found the Autism Blue ones. Picked up a set of them on Feb 17th while getting my son his bday cake next store I stopped in the walmart adjacent and found them. I ended up buying 3 sets of the 4 as our son is on the spectrum and my wife and I like to support the Awareness etc. I do wonder thou what of the sales if any is going to Autism Awareness.
