Shi sighed "ok well how about this. You can help clean this place since Sholeh is your friend." Jr nodded "yea. Oh and just so you know big guy. I don't care what you think of me. I didn't know this was the home of anouther mongoose if i did i would've stayed well away from it." Jr spoke still cleaning. It was going much more quickly with help and he thought that he would get the chance to make Sholeh's fence stronger so it would be less likely to brake again.

Jr nodded "Terrence. Terrence Jr." introducing himself.

Just about two hours away from the Haven, Cairo was still swimming home. He was eating anything he could overpower, and the journey was finally more calmer. He was still trying to decide whether to bring those two orcas with him to the Antarctica or if staying there and bear the starvation and pressure of Jet. He really wanted to stay, but knew that if he stayed for too long, he wouldn't have the strength to face the current.

"Exactly Jet. Don't you see what I mean? The drought is already having it's effects. You and Sayan have done a wonderful job so far, but..." Sybil paused, wanting Jet to make up the rest. Now with that confession, she really hoped he would understand why she was so incredibly cautious earlier.

Sybil lowered her head and ears, feeling ashamed to think that way.
"I know you will NEVER do us harm on purpose. I really know that. But Rose has known me longer and look what happened. I am really sorry. I hate to think like this, but her attack... it felt like a foreshadowing. A wake up call for the things to come... and... well, I have seen you all in action, and we wouldn't stand a chance if... you know..." Sybil confessed, really hurting her to tell him that. She believed Jet when he said that he would never turn on her or the others, but that was something he wasn't going to be able to be in control of if the drought reached a critical state.

Sybil didn't know if to feel glad or worried that Jet insisted on his promise. It was true that neither he or the other two have shown any signs of turning against them, but was it because it was too early to think that? Or orcas were indeed more sturdy than she gave them credit for? Still, she wasn't willing to take the risk of having any resident approach the water.

"It's true Jet. Or at least the Haven is suppose to be safe, but this drought took us all by surprise. We don't know it's unpredictable effects. As a matter of fact, before me, Rose also attacked Stripes the other nights, so you get my point. I know she never meant it, but the drought is taking it's stroll on her. It's not her fault of course, she's too young to control her instincts, but you get why I am worried." Sybil replied, still hoping for Jet to understand why she was ready to break her trust on him.

Sybil was a bit concerned when Jet didn't show the answer she was expecting, but since they were now a few meters away from the Haven, she didn't say anything.
"Well young or not, everybody must be careful around everybody. I myself would probably have to spend the rest of the drought high on the trees." Sybil expressed, knowing that someone as small as her was at the most risk.

"Me too." Sybil replied sighing, taking a look at her beloved Haven and hoping Jet didn't ask her a thing about the signs.

Back at the cliffs where the marine birds lived, Peepers managed to gather everybody, save from a few warblers, including Yodel. The most important members were the marine birds anyway, so the meeting took place. Both the seagulls and pelicans that remained really wanted to stay and help Sybil, but when they threw themselves into the water to catch whatever few little fish were left, they did with the constant fear that an orca was waiting below. Thankfully, nothing has happened so far, but many of them weren't so sure on how much that would last. Unlike Sybil and the others, the marine birds, especially seagulls, were natural prey of orcas, and that really got them paranoid. Still, they stubbornly wanted to stay, but after much persuasion from Peepers, they agreed that they should leave by morning to prevent any tragedies in the future, and pray they can look for a place to live while the drought lasts.

Back at their den, Sayan was enjoying the company of his mate. "One of these days, we'll all be free of this mess and can do whatever we want.," he gently said laying aside Rose and soaking in the sunlight that illuminated the top of their cave.

Sybil got off, giving him a friendly pat on the nose as thanks. She would have given him a kiss, but she was too upset with everything going on that it didn't suit her. She looked around, winding what she should do next, while remaining in front of Jet, and hoping he didn't ask her about the signs. She simply concentrated on ignoring her hunger for a while longer, at least until tonight.

Sybil came to a rather violent halt when Jet asked her that. She was so sure she could walk away before he noticed.
"Just... warnings..." was all she said, wanting him to guess the rest. She knew how sensible he was, so she really didn't want to tell him, believing he would feel it like a betrayal or something of the sort.

Skaliscin wrapped her tail around AJ as he snuggled next to her. "I'm... sorry... I should have visited you, but I was... preoccupied," she whispered. "You'll see why soon... How are you handling the drought so far? The effects just started where we're at. The leaves at the bottom are starting to get dry, and the bugs are leaving for the streams. Has it been hard finding anything?"

Voracivenom wasn't too far from where Sybil hopped off. Seeing that her and Jet were still talking, and that she probably wouldn't like him approaching the water under any circumstances, he waited before speaking with her.

At the marine bird's home, the meeting came to an end. The seagulls and pelicans fish whatever they could so that they could retire to sleep early. They wanted to leave first thing in the morning. Many of them prayed for their mistress and her guest, to be safe and well fed during the infernal drought. But especially their friend orcas, both the ones who were at the Haven starving and the pod who were somewhere out there bearing harsh waters in order to find a temporary home.

"I see." Jet said as he realized what they were. "Miss Sybil you know I would never hurt another."

"I know I know. But remember they are two more orcas out there." Sybil replied, almost as if she was talking about them and not Jet. But she kept to herself that the fact that Jet so immensely convinced that he would never lose himself the way Rose did upset her. Perhaps he was indeed far away from succumbing to his instincts, but Sybil knew that if the drought was going to get worse, it was going to happen sooner or later. It was only a matter of time. She wouldn't have never think like that if Rose hasn't attacked her.

"Alright now." Sybil said, trying to figure out if his tone of voice was that of one upset of disappointment. As she walked by, she didn't notice Voracivenom was just a few feet away from her.

As the marine birds were getting fed, the warblers were returning, with a lot of things to talk about. Not only did they had to say goodbye to their ocean dwelling neighbors, but they still had plans to meet up with Sybil to have her explain the cruel deal she made with Sholeh.

AJ:

"Well, its not that bad for me, because I eat a varied diet, but for animals that eat mostly meat its really hard. Sybil yelled at me when I tried to cheer her up. She acted as if I was well a pest...and not a help. After that I came up here and have been here since. Every now and then I go out to hunt and get a drink, but mostly I remain here. It's safer and better for the others I guess," I say, sadly swishing my tail from side to side as I embrace Skaliscin.

Sybil was meaning to return to her tree, but there, a group of approximately ten warblers, including two mothers, were waiting for her. She had a lot of explaining to do. When they confronted her, Sybil had to tell them why that deal with Sholeh without their permission, and they then reminded her that Yodel also knew about that sticky rope due to working with Shadow and that mongoose, she she just could have made a deal with him, even if it would meant humiliation, but that was something that Sybil was willing to go through in order to save lives. If only there was a way for Sholeh to take away the deal. Perhaps helping her clean up her home?

Now late afternoon, just two miles away from the Haven, Cairo could see the silhouette of the miraculous islands that were the Haven and Hunted. It was great to be home. He had ate a whole lot of squids to prepare himself in case he stayed, but in the meantime, he was preparing to go through that harsh current and finally enter the territory was was rightfully his...

Crocux decided to keep an eye on Sholeh, hopeing to help her if he could.

The finally got the place cleaned up satisfied Jr says "ok now that the mess is cleaned up it's time i got to work on fixing that fence." he got to work on the fence. he was glade that the fence was a surprisingly easy fix but it was surprisingly weak as well. so instead of fixing the fence he got to work on making the fence even better then before, yea he thought Sholeh will be very pleased with that. she might forgive me for what I've done. Shi was glad to see that her nephew was taking responsibility for his actions and how he was trying to make things right. she couldn't help but to smile.

After talking for a while, the warblers decided to let Sybil be, trusting she would find a way to handle things. Sybil was hungry, but with the thought that she could have talked to Yodel instead and prevent that awful deal with Sholeh, it made it go away. She headed to Sholeh's tree to see how the cleaning was taking place, and planning to help find the culprit of the disaster, unaware that the case was already long solved.

Sholeh was taking a nap on top of the tree she was previously sunbathing on, trying to catch up on some of the sleep she missed the night before thinking of revenge. Even if Jr. left her tree better than before, she wasn't going to be willing to forgive him. Se didn't believe it when he said that he didn't knew that was a mongoose's home, since Sholeh firmly believed a mongoose had to recognize the home of their own kind without exception. She even completely ignored Crocux who was nearby.

Sybil arrived to Sholeh's tree, and saw Terrence Jr. along with Shi.
"Hey Shi. Hey Sholeh." she greeted, but after taking a closer look at the mongoose, she could see that wasn't her.
"Hey know! You're not Sholeh! What are you doing here?" she demanded, knowing that Sholeh was the only mongoose allowed at the Haven.

Jr sighed and nodded "and i'm not proud of it ether. Name's Terrence, Terrence Jr." Shi smiled "and the one who trashed the place." Jr sighed "really Aunty?" Shi just smild glad to have embaressed her nephew for the first time.

"Oh really? A mongoose stealing from another mongoose... and many ask me why I don't allow your kind here. You can't even respect yourselves." Sybil said angrily, though putting her paw on her mouth just in case Crocux was nearby. She didn't want to invoke the mongoose-loving crocodile's wrath again.
"Anyway, does Sholeh knows? She is going to be furious if she finds out who did this." Sybil then said, knowing that mongoose too well, but also to mellow down what she said earlier.

Jr sighed "look first off lady, i didn't know this was a mongooses home. If i did then i never would have touched this place. Second, she already knows that i did it and i'm trying to make it up to her. Thirdly that croc isn't here he's off with Sholeh. I know you would be yelling at me more but you stopped showing that you're afraid of someone, and so far the only one i saw that could scare anyone is that giant croc. Well him and Sozen here." Shi was suprized at how thurogh her nephew was, he was just full of suprizes.

Sybil became quite disturbed when that particular mongoose knew that she was afraid of Crocux. Has the two already met and he already knows he likes mongooses? If that was the case, Sybil believed that both him and Sholeh could use that against her.
"Well just in case you didn't know, this Haven here only allows one mongoose; the one whose tree you just destroyed. And second of all, I don't know how you know Crocux, but I won't allow you to use his likeness of mongooses to harm me!" Sybil scolded, trying to sound as if she wasn't afraid of the croc. But either way, she really hated the fact that she couldn't point her reasons for disliking mongooses in fear that would mean another threat from the crocodile.

Jr looked suprized "wait, wait, wait. That massive croc was the little shrimp that my dad sacrifaiced himself to save!? Man i'm just finding more and more long lost family by the minute. Anyways i didn't even know his name till just now or the fact that he has a fondness of mongooses. In fact i don't really care. I don't care if he's fond of mongooses or not nor do i care if you only allow one mongoose sactuary here. Hell i don't care if you were an rino! I'll do what i please and live where i wan't and you can't stop me. Once i'm done working on the fence here i'm gonna go back to my tree and i'm gonna live their wether you or anyone else for that matter, like it or not and that's that! Now if you'll excuse me ihave work to do." and he resumed his work. He was suprizingly fast at working on the fence, he was half way done with it and it already looked much stronger compaired to before he destroyed it.

Jr glared at Sozen rubbing where he got shoked "yea so what. I could care less. I don't take orders frim anyone." Shi sighed "from what i was told his father did have trouble with athority, i guess he got that too."

Sybil looked at Sozen with a shy, yet adorable smile, grateful that the big eagle was finally fond of her enough to defend her, but rub it off and returned to her serious look. She suspected Jr. wasn't a mongoose from the outback, since he looked like a different species and he would have been ignoring Royal's peace treatment, but now that he seemed to disrespect even Crocux, she believed she could have liberty of expression, even if Crocux was nearby.
"Now listen, I don't know where did you settle your tree, but it better not have been in this forest. We have a one mongoose limit here with very good reasons." Sybil expressed, literally banishing him once he was done with Sholeh's tree. She doubted the birds would tolerate another one nearby, especially if he couldn't even respect a fellow mongoose's home.

Jr was furious "and i said that I DON'T CARE! I just got here and i'm not going no were and no one can make me!" he went back to work muttering loudly to himself "honestly what is wrong with everyone? I haven't done anything wrong to no one exept for Sholeh and i'm trying to make it up to her. I mean it's not like i eat eggs or anything, heck i'm allergic to them. Darn no good, racest, freaks."

Sybil understood why he took the correct call that the reason mongooses were not allowed was due to the damage done to the warblers, but if it was true that he didn't eat eggs, then perhaps an exception could be made.
"Now listen here, here at this island we don't judge anybody save for their actions! You would be surprised the amount of animals I allow here! Even ones that could hurt me so incredibly easy!" Sybil said furiously, thinking of Crocux most of all. She was quite angry with his accusation.
"If it is true that you don't eat eggs, then perhaps the warblers will allow you here! It is up to them, not me. But you will understand that's not the only rule! You will have to get your own food and respect everybody living here!" Sybil then explained, wondering if Jr. would have feel as sorry as he was right now if the home he stole from wasn't a mongoose's.

While Sybil was grateful to Sozen, that second time she believed he was overdoing it.
"Now now Sozen, don't abuse your power. He's had enough." she said, not wanting Jr. to hate her for Sozen taking her side.

But while things were tense at the Haven, now pass the "impossible" current, Cairo had finally arrived home, happy to be there and hoping Jet wasn't around to ruin his mood. He didn't want to be accused of abandoning the pod, since it wouldn't have been the first time he left his fellow orcas under the care of Ellen. She wasn't very strong, but she was incredibly smart, and that was something to admire. With such a full belly, and the feat he had to go through to pass that incredibly strong current, he had to repose a little before he could head to the island to greet Sybil.

Jr was very aggravated by Sozen's shokings. Shi gave Sozen a light smack upside the head "if you do that i'll sick my dad on you. And i don't want to hurt those pritty eyes of yours." she threatined. Jr sighed and muttered to himself "man every one thinks i eat eggs. why does everyone think that? i'm allurgic for gods sake! I've just arrived here yesterday and this is already hell for me." as he resumed his work.

Sybil was starting to feel sorry for him when even Shi was going against him, but either way, the damage was done.
"Well, you shouldn't have stolen in the first place. That is just furthering damaging your specie's reputation. Perhaps you didn't know, but we never store food. We are only doing that because there is a drought on the way and it will make us go through starvation." Sybil lectured, wondering if Jr. ever stopped to think why would anyone save food in a place that is suppose to be tropical, and who would save meat from all things if it spoils faster than other food sources.

As the conversation took place, Sholeh was waking up. It was only one hour before the sun sets, and she wanted to spend the evening quietly in her own home.
"That stupid jerk better be done with the cleaning." she said furiously, still not getting over it. As she climbed down she could see that Crocux was still there.
"Still here? Don't you have a home to go to?" she said rudely to the crocodile, not showing him fear since she was out of reach. She saw his presence as harassment, and still didn't understand that Crocux, unlike Sybil and the others, did have respect for her outcast kind.

Shi sighed "Sozen i ment you can shock him just don't burn him!" Jr heard Sybil and relized "actually i didn't think about that." he felt really embaressed now. He was almost done with the fence. He really felt bad now. he sighed sadly "man i'm such a moron."

Crocux continued to be in Sholeh's company when he said "yes i do but unlike Sybil my family hold a respect for mongooses. In fact we had on in our odd little family when i was little and he saved my life, but at the cost of his own. You have no need to fear me, i wont harm you."

Sybil wanted to believe Jr. was sincere and wanted to amend his damage, so she decided to put him to the test.
"I'll help you with the cleaning. It is wise to keep Sholeh happy." she said, starting to clean alongside him.
"And Sozen, please try to be patient. He already apologized." she said to the eagle, wanting to avoid any more unnecessary zapping.

"So you are fond of mongooses. Yeah right? And what about... civets?" she asked, wanting to find out his opinion about Sybil in particular.

Sybil simply sighed, now knowing there was no reason with Sozen. She continued helping with the cleaning, unaware that Sholeh was on her way, and was in a very bad mood.

At Sozen's cave, Warren has remained there the entire time. He was sure that Sholeh was simply at the company of Sozen, whom she liked very much, to catch the culprit, so instead, he stayed behind, trying to make a decoration for the big eagle as thanks for being so kind to both him and Sholeh. He even grabbed a bouquet for Shilise to congratulate her compromise with the huge bird. He saw that it was soon going to be night, but luckily, he was done. It wasn't exactly a fist class decoration, but it was the best a vulture such as himself could do. His kind wasn't very creative when it came to decoration, so he was a bit disappointed with the results. But he wasn't going to spend the entire night trying to fix it, and fearing he would only get it worse, he left it that way, hoping the intention alone was enough for the latest couple.

Jr looked at her suprized "t-thank you. That's very kind of you but please you don't have to help. I'm almost done here." Shi smiled "he's right Sybil. And he's been working since last night."

Crocux thought about it for a minute "well since i've only met one so far i wouldn't have an opinion in general of them. But my opinion of Sybil, fairly judgmental, kind, and easily stressed out. Though the stressed out thing is because of the drought though. All in all i don't hate Sybil at all. I'll admit that i did lose my temper towards her when i heard her opinion of mongooses though. I did over react though." the last sentance he said sheepishly.
