You know, those people aren't called experts for nothing. You might not like it, but what your mother says actually sounds pretty reasonable.

I also don't know your dad, but if he is the kinda person that your mother is currently in the process of trying to leave him, it might be a good idea to keep a lid on it until that happens.

Except she is clearly never going to leave him, she has been wanting to for years.

Haven't you posted here before talking about how abusive your father is to you guys especially when he's drunk? I don't think revealing your gender identity to him will make things any better, so it really is for the best that you keep it hidden from him until he's out of the picture.

This isn't hiding your identity from the world for the sake of it or because she doesn't believe in you. This is protecting you from someone who may become more abusive to you for it.

It feels like you're searching for a reasons to hate your mom. (for like the third time, 4th if you count Samius) She's going to allow you to be trans, you just have to wait until you leave your father and see someone who will help you with your decisions. I don't understand how that isn't showing you that she cares about you. And at least she LETS you be trans. This is a prime example of parents not loving their trans child no matter what. At least she got you girl PJ's and lets you wear them.

Okay, I've just about had enough of this.

At least she actually loves you and supports you, a lot of trans and nonbinary people out there don't have the luxury of a family member that's willing to help them transition. There are people out there who have gone their entire lives without any means to transition, let alone any support from people that love them. You're extremely lucky that your mom is willing to help you and maybe even pick up the insane cost of gender reassignment surgery. That shows she loves you, it shows she cares, so don't ever act like she doesn't, it sounds like she's trying her very best and you're just being ungrateful.

Also, if your mom isn't doing these things until she's left your dad, that's keeping you safe. From previous personal thoughts I've snooped on (I do that for everyone, I just can't always help), he doesn't sound like the best person, and it could honestly be dangerous for you to come out to him, let alone actually be feminine around him. He's unaccepting, and she's trying to keep you out of harm by waiting. Once again, you're being extremely ungrateful, because she's actually trying to keep you from getting hurt or worse.

Stop complaining, she's trying her best to keep you in her life and alive.

Windumup, it really does look like your Mom is protecting you from your Father. Don't hate your Mom. You said your Dad is a drunk and an abusive Father, she doesn't want him to harm you. I also think she doesn't want your Dad to harm her because she has lovingly accepted you for who you are. Wait for the day your Mom leaves your Dad or your Dad leaves. Love your Mom, you're her child, she does love you.

If she loved me she wouldn't say every day "You're a boy and it's just the recent talk of transgenders on the news tricking you into thinking your a girl"

According to some site I read on the subject, you need to be "living the transgender or nonbinary lifestyle for at a minimum of two years" to even be considered for HRT.

Hate to break your dreams, kid, but it's not even possible until you move out.

You can't with a dad who's unaccepting. At least your mom is, and a lot of people don't have that, even if they're cisgendered. The least you can do is be patient.
