Wow, they actually decided to make the Skymiibo packs available separately? This is truly confounding. I guess they realized that making these exclusive in the starter packs wasn't helping...as shown in the current sales of the starters. I'm also betting they are regretting making these console exclusives, although I'm confident Nintendo forced that one.

My Walmart had both the Dk and Bowser Combo packs already.

Yay! Perfect time to pick up Astroblast

Just got back from TRU, they also had cases of them there to (the guy who was working there insisted the boxes were for Disney Infinity, when it clearly said Skylanders Superchargers on the side of the box, and it took a lot of convincing top make him open them).

the fact that they made them into seperate packs just shows how bad the starters did, i highly doubt they would have done this otherwise. It's funny there's another skylanders day just to move more of these as no one's buying. Right now gamestop will have the best deals on what they have in stock on that day.

in 4 years i have never seen as much deals with skylanders before like this. i gotta be honest its shocking and unusually. but good for the ones that loves super chargers i guess.

I had to cash in 5 free skylanders coupons from the skylanders club yesturday. I saw they finally had the wave 3 cars in. Ill guess ill be back for those next week.

Does anyone know if any of these deals (specifically the air racing pack) will be available online? I'll go to the store if I have to, but I'd much rather just buy it online.

Can any gamestop people confirm if anything interesting is in transit? (IE- The w3 combo packs)

I was at Gamestop today and they had about 12 Kaos Trophys out already. No double packs though. I guess they aren't waiting for Saturday.

The website has the Kaos trophy but says it's not available until the 9th, and they don't have the sky racing pack listed at all.
The Nintendo combo packs are interesting. Unless they have changed it you can only use them on Nintendo games. So you bought superchargers for the WiiU and now you buy the combo pack to get Bowser and his vehicle for $25. But why not just spend another $15 and get Bowser and his vehicle, plus an extra Stealth Elf and the racing game? Or if you were like me and bought the dark edition for WiiU, you get Bowser, his vehicle, Stealth Elf and the racing game. If they release Stealth Elf individually at some point they will be at least $10, so you can think of it as you are getting the Wii racing game for only $5 more than the combo pack.

It's not supposed to make sense. These combo packs are purely for the Amiibo collectors and the few people who only purchased the WiiU starter who need Bowser+vehicle or those who purchased the 3DS/Wii starter who need Donkey Kong+vehicle. Face it...99% of the collect them all types already have their bases covered on both regular and dark versions of the Skymiibos. These combo packs will go the way of all Superchargers merchandise and wind up in the 50% off sales in another month or two. If I remember correctly, the 3DS version of the starter pack (including Bowser+vehicle) hit $24 on Amazon last month, which makes the $25 MSRP of the combo pack look kind of silly.

Skymiibos. I did see a pop fizz though, so probably the birthday one, didn't really look that close at anything else.

While cool for new adopters or those who still have stuff to get, it would have been cool if they actually had something to sell that none of us had currently.

Picked up the regular version of the Sky Racing Action Pack. There is no way I am paying full price on the Amiibolanders Combo Pack. All we need is the Donkey Kong one. I might just wait for the Wii U starter pack to drop to $15-20.

The only item of interest which wasn't in any previous 50% off or BOGO sales is the Sky racing pack. So yes...for us patient deal hunters, there is at least one item some of us were looking forward to. Yes...there's really nothing of interest here for the "must have them first and willing to pay full price" type of collector. Seeing as I don't like racing and Superchargers is my least favorite entry in the series, 50% off is basically the minimum discount at which I'm purchasing stuff these days.

Got Nightfall and HJV.

I got High Volt, Nightfall, Shark Shooter Terrafin and Hammer Slam Bowser + Clown Cruiser.

Mine didn't have any of the amiibo packs.
Oh well, atleast I finally got the Sky Racing Pack.

Nothing I really needed picked up the dark wii u starter. Mostly for the amiibos.

The local GameStop store I visited right before close was packed to the gills with Skylanders merchandise. Either they restocked during the course of the day or this sale brought in very few (if any) customers. I had a Skylanders club free figure coupon, so I was able to apply it to get the sky racing pack I wanted for $4.50...can't beat that

i couldnt find the sky racing back at the 4 gamestops i visited, none of them had them. However i went to target for the nitro soda, gave dcip got item from back. Wife went to buy them tried to get them to apply the 50% cartwheel, guys line was closed i think he wanted to just go home..he gave us 50% of the soda and the sky racing back i found there. So i got the sky racer for the same price pretty much as gamestops sale

I went to the closest GameStop near me, and didn't find a Sky Racing pack on the shelves, even though they had ads up for the sale.
So I asked the manager and he said that they didn't have any, and that neither of the other two stores in town were showed as having it on their system.

I tried for a rain check, which I knew was a long shot, and was denied.
Then I went to Best Buy to try and get a price match, also denied. They said they don't price match one day sales.

Went to Toys R Us just to see if they and any non-legendary versions, no luck.

On a hunch, I went to a second GameStop in town and BOOM, sitting right there on a peg, Sky Racing.

More annoying than it needed to be, but at least all the stores were close to each other.

This sale wasn't seductive enough for me.
