^I feel like if Dark installed some sort of limit (say, once every three months) and kept it exclusive to a certain rank (say, Gold and above?) it could work reasonably. The biggest concern to adding such a feature is people abusing it and changing their name three times a day so if it can be limited I don't see the problem.

Also a little drop down menu that shows previous names used.

Also another mod may have to step in and correct me but I don't recall there having been a way to moderate custom titles. You could throw something inappropriate there (not everything is filtered) and mods could potentially be helpless.

What would make sense with changeable usernames is if people had limited chances to change them, like once a year or so. Otherwise some would probably end up changing them based on their every new favorite movie/game all the time, and it would just be really confusing. Obviously the names would also have to be not inappropriate.

As for the titles, what would make more sense to me is if we all had a list of preset titles that we could choose from. They could be used in a variety of ways without there being a chance of anybody breaking the rules or getting on anybody's nerves.

The idea I had was three times a year for changeable names (and again restrict it to a certain sparx rank or above), and 6 times a year for title changes. And moderator control over both to weed out any inappropriate or provocative nonsense.

Preset titles to choose from is better than what we have now but many will argue it's not really custom and would much rather have titles that they themselves can create. Not to mention many preset titles would probably be Spyro/Skylanders based and those who don't care much for either franchise now or would rather represent themselves with something related to, say, Pokemon, would be cut out and the feature made useless to them.

It is pretty badass. I know one Jedi in the Legends non-canon series has a Lightsaber whip.
