What kind of stuff did you watch when you were younger that you look back on and face palm?

For me, I watched Secret of NIMH 2 all the time, and even thought it was better than the original.
I loved all of the Disney Sequels unironically.

I used to watch this literally every day.

Disney sequels, Inspector Gadget movies, Pokémon anime(mainly post GenIII anime, let's go full cringe), Fairly Oddparents oh my god
I'm sure there's more but over the years I blocked those from my mind. Just look for the Jetix lineup a few years before it became Disney X-D and you'll have an idea.

If it helps any, I liked the second movie waaay more, as a dumb kid that thought the girl upgrade of a character is better even if the personality was replaced with cardboard.

Okay but the first Ben 10 was a legitimately good show and I still love it.

Alien Force, Ultimate Alien, and Omniverse were all absolute trash though.

Oh god I was so hyped over them at the time. Nowadays the first two are salvageable for the camp since it's still very over the top, but there's nothing to save on the third and that was the one I'd watch over and over.

Yeah, those might be cringe to most adults now but they're not really teaching crappy lessons or having disturbing scenarios, it's harmless even if cheesy fun.

the Alvin and the Chipmunks movies. I used to think they were great movies when I was younger. And then I grew up.

I also used to really love Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen before I realized why it's considered one of the worst movies of all time. Dark of the Moon also used to be my favorite movie at one point before my tastes changed and now i find it to just be decent.

Some children's shows are better than others. In concept, children's shows are supposed to be educational above anything else. Things like Blue's Clues and Between the Lions fulfilled this goal pretty well, whereas these other ones they mentioned were just....weird.

Oobi was one of the weird ones, but it wasn't until I was older that I found out it was actually intended for developmentally disabled kids.

The first one was passable since it was the fish out of water story you've seen a million times PLUS a 'naive musical talent gets scammed by evil corporate guy' story that you've also seen a million times(didn't it come out along with Enchanted which also was a musical with a fish out of water story?) and mostly harmless and cute, but then they noticed that "chipmunked" songs became a big thing on Youtube, then it got REALLY bad.

Revenge of The Fallen was my favorite live-action Transformers movie for a really long time and I have absolutely no idea why.

Actually, it's probably because I really liked The Fallen and thought he was really cool.

there are some aspects to it that I still kind of like, such as the action and effects. But honestly, that's really about it. It fails in every other area.
