sometimes (okay, all the time) i feel like an alien on this planet trying to adapt to a world i do not understand

i feel a lot of nostalgia for the 'early years'.. not in a rose-tinted glasses/everything used to be perfect kind of way, but in more of a sense of 'belonging'. both online and offline, it seems like things have changed and i've really stayed the same (choosing to be honest with who i was aside).. or maybe i have changed and haven't really realized it? again, being who i always wanted to be was a big change, but even so...

it still feels like everyone has moved on and i haven't grown a bit, and i'm just... lost. i have no absolutely no intention of pretending to be something i'm not in a poor attempt to 'belong' again, but it just feels so strange. i see many people come and go, and that sense of 'belonging' just goes further and further into obscurity.

maybe this is just because i'm not a kid anymore.

i wish i could be consistent in whether or not i use proper capitalization/punctuation/etc but lolnope

though i have found that i like to use all lowercase and minimal/zero punctuation as a way to seem 'quiet'

this is a sign i must go to sleep

!!! WARNING: ME COMPLAINING ABOUT FISH TANKS !!!
proceed with caution...
that tank. was an absolute ****ing nightmare to set up. my BRAND NEW water vac is broken and useless and can't even fit in my faucet anyway. my sponge filter is too ****in big and it took ages to sink. i had to mess up my substrate just to build a huge mountain around the sponge and it would float to the top anyway. the water was so cold my arm was numb while trying to position the sponge right. my second piece of driftwood just won't get clean so i don't even wanna use it anymore. THE TUBE ON THE SPONGE FILTER IS TOO LONG SO I HAD TO TAKE IT OFF AND CUT THE TOP OF A WATER BOTTLE AND JUST TAPE IT THERE. MY TEMPORARY HEATER SAYS IT MUST BE SET VERTICALLY AND BE FULLY SUBMERGED BUT MY 20 LONG IS TOO SHORT SO I HAD TO PUT IT SIDEWAYS. MY PH IS A DISASTER. and the water, oh my god... the way i had to fill the tank up....i had to use a tiny little bowl to take water from a bucket and just put it in.....and the water is cloudy af and i hope it clears up soon. i hope this doesn't take over a month to cycle

Okay, how the **** does that make sense? You're giving the little sister who has a phone, a new one. I mean I can agree that it's dated and a piece of **** that may not have service. But my main issue is You're giving a new phone to someone who ****ing has phone that they can call you with. And that person may have been generous enough to offer giving me the older phone, but I am not wanting a piece of **** from someone who never picks up the room and is always a little ****. She should probably give the older phone to the little brother because you know he uses your phone for games, huh mom?

So yeah. You just added more salt on this week of injury. And this from a person who like a phone, so they can call you when out on a date, because sometimes that BF forgets his phone (which is not his fault). I wonder how logic works with you people half of the time.

Approximately less than 12 hours & we'll all be in Merry Christmas. A little disappointed because I did not get the gifts that I really wanted, I'll have to settle with the clothes (as always) that my family gave me as gifts. At least everyone in my family have been together happily.

I think, the countries of Japan, China & all those are already in Christmas.

I have achieved my goal a week early. I have always had patience and I do believe that's what helped me achieve my goal. In all honesty, I'm smiling cause I know for once I did not **** up and I'm not confused. I feel pretty damn good right now.

I got a lot of cool stuff, I spent time with the one family member who really matters, I talked to my best friend before she left for the night, and I ate some really good food, so why do I feel so sad?

I just feel lonely and empty, despite all that happened...

Ok it looks like I got 3 gifts instead, even still the gifts hardly felt like a "I thought of you" type of gift. Yes I liked the gifts, but what I wanted (which wasn't expensive) would have been a lot more meaningful.

I kinda wish you would get over this whole "Southern pride" thing and have some more consideration for others. There are people that live there that are extremely important to me, and I don't appreciate it at all when you say things like "That place is awful and it needs to die," or "The people there are so rude, I hate it there." Like it really bothers me when you say stupid crap like that. You're always complaining about how people generalize and stereotype the south but you do the same exact thing while you're up there. Like you really just need to get off your high horse and grow up.
