An advertising firm in the 1960s-1970. It doesn't sound too compelling from just that but it's a really well written show and focuses on the changing times and the characters and it's wrapping up within the next few weeks.

I just finished watching Parks and Recreation. It was great show in the first few seasons but the most recent seasons were quite boring and I semi-forcedly watched them for the sake of story which eventually was generic, overly optimistic and lacking of conflict and depth of character for my taste. As I mentioned earlier the first few seasons were great piece of laid-back comedy but the show got really boring towards the final years of its run.

A nice little summary you did on the show there. You're right. The emotional moments are superb, though I also admit that, while it manages to be genuinely funny most of the time, it can overdo it. I'm not sure if it's overrated though. I introduced the show to both of my parents, and they love it. And that's saying a lot, since they hate modern cartoons. My dad especially. He was too proud to admit it, but finally, a few days ago, he recognized that he likes Gravity Falls, and watches it with me when he can smilie

New for my taste, I must say that is interesting, funny, with some of sarcasm & other weird things to good for me.
