I would like to know what do you think the faces of the masked skylanders look like. Some of them are easy to guess, they are only half covered but others are pretty much left to imagination. I have made a list (feel free to add more if I have forget about someone):

- Nightfall

- High volt

- Knight Light: I think he has a very human alike face. The fact is lower part of the head is uncovered provides a great clue to his appearance. I think he has blonde hair and dark eyes, much like the light element itself, something like this:



- Deja vu

- Boom jet

- Chop Chop

- Crusher

- Double trouble

-Drobot

-Enigma

- Fiesta (is it mask or his face?)

- High five

- Ignitor

- Krypt King

- Stealth elf

Chop Chop is probably just a skull and Ignitor a flame.
I think something bad happened to Déjà Vu's face as there's no other reason why she would wear a mask.

Some of the masks from these characters are their actual face, like Double Trouble and Fiesta.

Ignitor's face is a flame with holes for eyes/mouths,you can see it in one of his Soul of the Flame upgrades.

Fiesta's skull is proobably a mask, but he could've just painted his face white and red, that's what you do on the Day of the Dead I think.

I WOULD like to know how they mostly look like casual,some seem to be just normal faces as other from their species(Knight Light prooobably looks like a regular Tree Elf or something else with that skin color that's not a human),some are unconfirmed like Hex's hair(or lack thereof since Lost Islands might not be canon) and boots, others seem to be a whole mystery on their own like Enigma and Nightfall(who might or might not be amphibian) and some are not given reason or hints to look like that.

I thought Double trouble was wearing a mask with a face painted on the front, but now that you mentioned, maybe the eyes and mouth which can be seen are his true ones.

A pity we cannot see Knight Light's ears to have some guesses about his species. The guide doesn't provide any clues either. However other character with that skin like kaos and chompy mage seem to be quite human.

Her hands look very human. It would be cool to have like a customizable feautre in the next installment which would allow to see these faces.

You are right, it could be whatever species, but definitely revolving around that kind of facial features (bushwhack-kaos-chill). I remember talking with activision customer support service and they told me "Knight Light has lived many years but thanks to the power of light he has remain young and strong". Maybe the glossy skin has to do with his light powers.

You mean high five having the same eyes as the rest of the dragons, right? Yeah it would be pretty od if he had blank eyes like deja vu.

Is true the figure doesn't have a visible head, but maybe he can turn into his visible form at times.

I imagine nightfall like this-

Her mask consists of the silver part and a black additional part with the white blank eyes.

Under it- I imagine a Predator face.



think about it- the size of that mouth TOTALLY fits the size of silver part of her mask (which i bet is an air filter)

^Haven't though about it, but the similarity is very reasonable.

Stealth Elf I imagined would have a films Critters mouth. You know, one that is impossibly large and full of sharp daggery teeth. It's how she became a legendary pie eating contest winner in the comics even though she never removed her scarf. LOL

Star Strike I imagined would be invisible when her hood was removed. That being from another world we couldn't see her due to a different light spectrum. Total Star Trek nonsensical science.

Hex's hair I always wondered about, even if she had hair! Same with Batspin. I'm suspecting not unless they so love that Disney evil queen look of an impossibly tight hood to depict no hair at all.

Deja Vu and Scratch I'd imagined would be like DC's Batgirl, where it's plainly obvious what they looked like, so why are they even bothering.

As for the male landers, I never really thought about it other than Enigma could be related to Star Strike. A male of their species.

@tight hoods - Compressed hair, dear fairyland :U Some franchises have women using helmets/hoods so tight they should shave once a year,but then they take it off and they have Rapunzel hair. With Hex and Bat Spin things get more complicated since they're undead though,and if Hex lost her blood flow in a matter of hours, Eon knows if her hair just disintegrated or just became grayish in LI, like the melanin got sucked out.

Well, yes basically. Most of the dragons basically have the same eyes as their dragon pals. It's more fitting for High five to have bug like eyes, then the generic eyes that the dragons/most characters have.

I remember when I first saw Mileena's mouth in mortal kombat, I was like..... whaaaat!?I think I would have the same reaction with stealth elf,lol.

MAD Project isn't a good reference on Skylanders designs since they,uh,change Hex's outfit quite a lot. But if you see her ingame animations, the headdress is thin and flops around like fins,so no hair would fit in there, it has to be all in the hood.

I used fo follow their art because I love some me some well done traditional Skylanders fanart, but they kinda fell out of the fandom after focusing on more NSFW stuff :I Nowadays it's hard to even find traditional art of the games,let alone good.

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet but I think that Fiesta's face just looks the same as his band members. A glowing blue skull

I miss more official art for skylanders to be honest, they are akways depicted with the same outfit (games, comics, web, etc), so yeah, kind of agree here. I'm not expert though, I have always been terrible at drawing.

No it hasn't been mentioned. This fact maybe suggests is part of the uniform band and not their real faces?

Not to derail the topic too much, but about fanart, is this site still under a no share policy unless you actually made it? I saw a thread here some time ago that was so anti-posting of other's fanart unless you get users permission, so I dare not to post anything other than official art here. I'm too scared to post even a cropped one to show Hex's "possible" hair, so I had limited myself to sharing official art whenever I post.

I thought that it's alright as long as you give source,since it's not for sharing for the sake of it(like one of the cases where drama happened),you're just showing examples.

Yeah it was just an example. I didn't know there was drama about it before. I'll erase it just in case. However, if you guys look for hex in deviantart and filter on most popular ones you'll find it quite easily.
