Some kid (I'm guessing) yesterday was in the office and wrote on a chalkboard 'I'm bombing this school tomorrow,' so school's out.

Have a test coming up tomorrow that you didn't study for? Are you anxiously anticipating your presentation? Just tell the school you're going to bomb them!

One of my half sisters wrote a bomb threat at her school a few years ago. She said she did it because she was bored.

I don't know whether I would cancel school or not, it's a tough decision, but there's certainly a reason to at least be wary of it with what's been going on recently.

The thing is, 15 years ago, it wouldn't have been taken seriously. Then 9/11 happened.....

A lot of these threats are just jokes, yeah, but a school can't just assume it's just a joke when people's lives could be at risk.

It wasn't 9/11, it was the Columbine Shooting. :| 9/11 caused higher security in airports.
