Played through the game on normal. Then played through every level on nightmare. Got the 'gold badge' for completing all 13 levels on nightmare difficulty. But no achievemnet unlocked (xbox one).

Achievement tracker says im about 75% done. Any tricks to getting this achievement.? Thanx in advance.

PS. Also can not get the achievement for winning any race on all the difficulties - never unlocks.

I had no issues with the racing one unlocking, but the nightmare achievement is glitched in game for me ( or it seems like it is anyways... ). I beat every level on nightmare, start to finish, yet the in-game emblem says I only did 12/13

I replayed played every level (50 levels) - which is and all chapters (13) over again including all bosses. I made sure i never missed any and was rewarded with the gold medal for completing it all on nightmare but just no achievement.

First run through it never unlocked a few of the level achievements but they all unlocked on 2nd play through. Looks like i will need to start again.

Ditto for me on the 360 and I beat the game a couple days ago. The emblem badge is stuck on 12/13 adventurer mode, even though I played everything on nightmare. I posted this in the glitch section of the forum but no one had an answer on what to do. What sucks is that there is no where that says which level is the one I need to "complete".

Kaos battle is the Sky Eater's last chapter. The final battle against the Darkness is another level (they didn't divide it from the Sky Eater level). You need to beat Kaos and the Darkness not only the Darkness.

yeah, I know that...I played EVERY LEVEL from beginning to end on nightmare but it says I only did 12/13. Unless playing the final stage first effed it up ( I wanted to see if just beating the final stage would randomly unlock the nightmare achievement, which of course it didn't )

Activision ASSIST - I called you guys tonight. Apparently they don't know about this. I'd like to know if a patch is forthcoming that could address existing save files.

Others: has anyone braved deleting their game save file and starting over? I'm wondering if playing online with others glitched my achievement being unlocked.

I'm confused...are we all to spam Activision to get them to be aware of this glitch? Show me where to go and I'll bring the pitchforks and torches!

Anyway no, I don't play online at all, so that's not the reason at all. I don't have gold even.

I didn't play the entire game all the way though to beat it. I went and messed around with the various levels getting hats and stuff first. I took several days to beat it and I thought it was my farting around like that which glitched it. Sadly I've come across lots of glitches of all sorts in the game, the most of any of the prior Skylanders games.

Actually SuperChargers blew out my hard drive half way though the game on level 41, so I have already restarted from scratch with a new hard drive. I'm not really willing to delete and beat it from scratch a third time even for the achievement. LOL

I've done all four game slots on Nightmare mode just to get the super gold badge for each.

Has anyone else had this problem?

I'm currently having this same problem with my Xbox 360...

Not bragging or anything, just documenting my experience. I had trouble with one of the trophies not showing up until later but all my emblems have reached their expected status on my PS3.

So it's a problem on Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

Just quick update
- Started a new save slot and played through the game again on nightmare. Still no achievement popping at the end of the game.

there has been a game update on xbox one however its seems to still not be fixed.

I wonder if you need to do all the stars on nightmare as on my nightmare run i did miss a few of them? Apart from deleting my save and starting again im not sure what to do?

Also still can not get the two 10 quest achievements. Ive don't like about 30 at each but still stuck at 70% and 60%. Frustrating.

Heads up. I have an open issue with Activision Support and have alerted them here in this thread. Apparently they think this is an isolated issue, so everyone pile in here if you are one of the victims.

I'm suffering from it of course. In mine, I keep getting an alert to upgrade my emblem whenever I'm at the academy but it obviously glitched where it displays 12/13 for adventurer mode. So the alerts knows something has to be done, but it's forever stuck at 12/13. No amount of replaying and rebeating the levels at any difficulity level gives me credit for that 13th one. So the game knows I beat everything, but there is some crossed wire where it gives me credit for it.

I tagged Activision Support this evening and inquired if 1.3 or whatever may fix this. I hope to have an official update on this next week. We'll see.

At this point I've started a new save file and I'm not moving Nightmare mode. So far, it's been updating as I complete levels, and it DOES track this on a per game save file basis (unlike many other things). I'll see in several days if my last platform achievement gets unlocked. It seems clear to me Activision doesn't either know or care enough to think this is an issue.

Does anyone know if the update fixed this? I haven't seen any other topics brought up about it.

I pretty much started a new file and did it again on latest patch, and it unlocked. Interestingly, the save file said I had done it and it simply wasn't unlocked from the XBO perspective. So I technically never got the visual confirmation of the achievement when I did it, but it did happen. So, not sure if it was me playing it again, the patch, or both...but that was my situation.

Hopefully that works. I don't really want to have to make another file to keep as my file has all of the Online Emblem done for it already. I'll start one up and just do it purely for Nightmare Mode and hopefully it unlocks it.

I am very confident that will work for you. I also totally skipped all of the other vehicle content and played it only with a land vehicle as well.

I personally had to replay every level over again on my save and I discovered that it was the collectors stage was giving me the troubles. I replayed that one 4 times, once on each difficulty, to get my achievements. It's possible that one (or more) of your stages needs to be replayed again but who knows which ones as the game surely won't tell. This is a flaw that needs to be addressed as I dunno if I glitched or just somehow missed beating a level on nightmare me. There is no way to see this unlike Swap Force which makes it very clear.

People are beating all the levels on Nightmare. That's not the issue at hand. The issue is after beating all the levels on Nightmare the Achievement for it wasn't and isn't popping up for day 1 games of 1.01 on Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

I too had everything beat on nightmare but the game felt otherwise. Ended up that I had to redo the collectors level over and then I got rewarded as you can see in the image below.
