What are your views on Chase Variants? Do you see them as a vital part of the collection or just a bonus thing? Personally, I see them as fun little extras to the game, and not necessarily part of the collection, though I still like to collect them because they can look really cool, even if they don't look like they do in the games.
What do you think of them? Do you collect them? How do you see them as part of the collection, or extras, as I do?

I don't actually collect them like the gotta grab 'em all type people (I only do that for non chase variants ) but when I find them in store, I buy them right up.

I am EXACTLY the same as you! Also, if I know a release date for one and know what store it's at, then I will most likely pop in an grab them.

As those two, I'm the same as then. I don't want to collect Chase Variants (In-Game I collect as a side/second priority collection). But, if I ever found a Chase Variant, I'm gonna buy it and sell it.
Some good time ago I found a E3/Bronze Hot Dog in a store's decoration, but at first I thought that it was being for sell. This was the closest that I reached of a Chase Variant.

Seriously, where the heck are they? I am suspicious that store owners are snatching them and selling them on ebay for quite a price, because I have never seen one in a store! And I have searched and searched. I would love to find one. Just one to embellish my collection. Aside form chase variants, I have all of them. All figures including in-game variants. It's a shame that after all the money I have spent and time hunting, I still haven't found a chase variant. After Superchargers, I am done with the franchise. Too expensive to complete a collection.

Once again with the "I'm quitting because I have to buy everything and there's nothing else I want in the franchise". If your happiness with it depends on some figure with a dirty patina coat, then you probably didn't enjoy it to begin with, despite the game, the fandom and everything else that's not collecting.

I have NEVER seen a chase variant in-person, but if I ever saw one I'd probably buy it without thinking. It's like a shiny pokemon to me!
