A while back I made a thread reporting that amazon.co.uk had listed Nightfall and had said that the release date would be on the 18th December 2015.
Well, I just check again and come with bad news. She's still up there, but the release date has been replaced with: "Currently unavailable. We don't know when or if this item will be back in stock."

That usually happens when they run out of pre-orders. The release date is still probably accurate.

That's the good part. When you say that you're gonna kick an *** into overdrive, you expect to this become a meme.

Who's Nightfall? Also, have you bought your Deep Dive Gill Grunt yet? -Activision

If this happened, I'm sure Nightfall would become the rarest Skylander.

I have a feeling that Nightfall will end up the most plentiful. Sure she will sell well at first, but keep in mind they will be shipping cases of just her to stores. Remember how everyone was clamoring for Lightcore Hex back in the Giants days? She isn't going to be hard to find. It just takes time for them to do a production run of new figures, and you don't retool a line to do a short run.

I don't think Nightfall being removed from the site means her release date has moved, it just means they ran out of preorders.

Honestly though, I still think she'll be released, but if she's not out by late January, I'm gonna lose hope. They already promised a release before 2016, but you know them when it comes to releases...

No way she won't be released.

Ok, we did have some of those problems last year but Yawn traps still didn't add anything new to the game and were purely an aesthetic choice (still hoping to see a Life one, though).
But here we are talking about a brand new character, not even a revamped SuperCharger.

She will come, sooner or later.
I'd guess January or February but December could be a good period as well.

I do fear they might do another stupid choice and not release many of her figures since she's now part of yet ANOTHER Starter Pack... But I still have hope Activision's marketing guy knows how to do his job.

Nightfall will be released first, along with MTDC, at GameStop on 12/5 in the US as part of Skylander Day.
So those who thought Nightfall was going to end up like the Yawn traps, ain't going to happen.
The Yawn traps weren't released in the US because traps weren't selling fast enough. Stores had too much stock, though I think they should have released them

These photos are so freaking funny. I have to say when the Skylanders fandom makes pictures of actual problems they are hilarious. Also I NEVER saw the Air or Life mini packs. since all but Breeze have other ways of obtaining them let's put Breeze with Nightfall and the Yawn Traps.
