For those who picked up amiibo festival, does it have off-tv and/or single player? I'm going to pick up Mewtwo and possibly amiibo festival but that's the one thing holding me back from buying the game.

Mewtwo looks really good.

In a stunning twist of fate I haven't experienced in months, I initially couldn't find Mewtwo in stores.

Time for more game theories with Amiibo. Timmy and Tommy Nook are more proof that every single Animal Crossing costume in Mario Maker will get an Amiibo in toy form. This now makes Kapp'n and Rover are left to be made if this is true.

I got myself a Mewtwo today. My Walmart is surprisingly well stocked this wave...

I really want a Kapp'n amiibo, as he and Blathers are my favorite characters in the AC series.

This will all be added to the OP in due time. The Direct dropped during a really busy time for me.

I just got back from Target, and their display had the new card in. There was one page with Shovel Knight on it, with red letters under it saying "Release Holiday 2015".

I noticed.... And right after I imported one too. Oh well, I had store credit with Play Asia so it's not like it cost too badly.

After sitting outside my TRU since 6:45, I have finally got home with my mega yarn yoshi!

Amiibo aren't rare anymore. Unless you're a character from Fire Emblem Awakening which is my favorite 3DS title. :(

Last year when hearing about this Amiibo stuff I remember arguing how dumb it was that you couldn't make custom builds and save them on the figure like what Skylanders does, and that for $13 they were overpriced. That the only figure I would've been remotely interested in was Falco because Falco (and Star Fox as a whole) merch is extremely hard to come by.

November 20th last year came around and friend and I were talking about going to the big midnight launch for Smash/ORAS/Amiibo that Nintendo World was hosting. I wanted to experience that huge of an event and I needed some sort of reason to go (didn't have a Wii U yet, was going to get ORAS later on) so I decided that since Falco wasn't here yet I may as well get Fox and use that as an excuse to go and wait for 7 hours in blistering cold. The people behind me were dumbstruck when I got to the front of the line and they found out I waited so long just for Fox and neither of the games. "You must be a hardcore Star Fox fan ****". I had Fox and he looked nice and sat on my shelf for a while alone and my plans remained to get Falco whenever he came out, even after getting way more figures than I expected to.

Exactly one year later to the day I'll be taking the trip to Nintendo World to pick up the one character I wanted from the start. It's about as poetic as buying Nintendo toys can get.

Managed to get Falco. I'm honestly a bit surprised there were still plenty, since I forgot about him and went to Best Buy so late in the day for something else.

I really love the detail on this guy.

My Falco I had pre ordered online just got here, and he looks incredible.

So, stocks are better now? Those last Waves doesn't have any rare Amiibo? This is probably a good sign.

As promised yesterday here's an updated collection set. I still have no intention to get them all.

Out of what's known, all that's left for me is Mii Swordfighter, Roy, & Cloud.

I went shopping today and after about 8-10 months of looking in stores, I finally found a Fox and Smash Yoshi. Pretty cool timing since Wave 1 turns a year old today!
