Here is the information from the article

things are going AWFUL at school.i just got my math test, and my grade was 13 out of 100.
mum is not allowing me on darkspyro anymore.
BUT
i am gonna struck a deal with her.
it all depends on me english test tomorrow
if i get 97+, i wont go on darkspyro for 2 months, and then come back.
if i get 95-97, i never get on darkspyro, and no other penalties.
but...
if i get any lower than 95,
i may never come back to skylanders.
never
all skylanders get sold,
ps3 will be replaced due to superchargers being installed on
and never getting another skylander again

BUT
if i get a round 100, no penalties charged

remember. english is not our main language here.

You're probably basing this statement off of the fact that new users will constantly say they are leaving, only to return not much after, but I feel this will be a different story,seeing as how leaving was not his choice whatsoever.

Me personally, I think the punishments there are too strict. I would say only take away all of his stuff if he didn't pass the test, which he did, but didn't get to the same expectations his mother wanted. I just think selling away all of his Skylanders just because he didn't get a 95+ on a test is insane, and yes, I understand the expectations were high because of the 13/100, but you could probably punish him less harshly than that and he'll still get the point.

Besides, he said the bad grade was in math and the test he took was in English. It's probably obvious he struggles with math more than English so why are you being so harsh on him for not getting a 95+ on something he may not have been doing that bad on?

I think his punishment was rather harsh however if education was top priority to his parents then he really should have tried harder in school. I feel as tho if he would have focused more on his lessons instead of the site and skylanders, he'd still be here and there wouldn't be a need for this topic.
