It's good, but not that good, don't let expectations make you think it's 100% the new Mother 3. However, if you really want a good experience, it's recommended to play it entirely blind and explore the dialogue options yourself; and most importantly play it for the characters. One too many people ran in and were disappointed because they ignore story and the gameplay and art is alright at best.
