Power Blue Splat was the Original Splat?

When I visited http://skylanders.wikia.com/wiki/Splat, I could help but noticed that the original concept of Splat is her Power Blue counterpart. Just thought I share this with everybody else. I intend to get Splat in both different versions if her Power Blue form will exist.

Power Blue is just blue and silver, she doesn't have the big blueish palette the original Splat had.

Well, maybe they must have altered the original colors of Splat's parts that were bronze or copper before making into her a Power Blue version.

From the article also posted for reference on her development, Splat also had oil attacks, wielded some kind of tool to spread oil around and was darkness based. A kid play-tester pointed out why Splat had a brush with one color and VV decided to change Splat.

Oil attacks? Very adult themed. Had to have kid testing to show their idiotic decisions. Funny. Sad too.

I think it makes sense. I mean, these games are designed to appeal to kids. And who knows what appeals to kids better than kids?

But PB Splat doesn't have the same blue/light blue/purple color pallete she had in her original form.
