If you're the one unrequiting, yes. If you're the one who's love is unrequited, only if you push the issue.

Well love doesn't have to be sexual. The idea that you have to want to have sex with someone for it to be considered love is a western construct. See Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo for none sexual love.

I don't really see why it would be shameful. You can't tell me that most of you here haven't had a crush that was returned. Most everyone has it happen to them, that's just life.

You just came up with that, didn't you? "Love" is an unambiguous term in western cultures as well. What Greeble were obviously referring to here is romance.

there's nothing shameful about falling in love with someone. it's not like you choose to fall in love. believe me, if people could fall in and out of love by choice i would be a lot happier right now.

love that is not openly reciprocated or understood as such by the beloved. The beloved may not be aware of the admirer's deep and strong romantic affection or consciously reject it.
