So I've noticed that Mabu (and Greeble) CPU opponents use Pandergast's loaner Vehicles in Racing mode. I know the names of two of them: Clunker (Land) and Blunder Bucket (Sea). But I can't seem to find the name of the Sky-based Vehicle. Does it have a name? If so, what is it called? If not, then should I just call it the "Asunder Aeroplane", or the "Rusty Rotor", or even the "Scrap Soarer"?

I actually prefer Rusty Rotor myself. I guess its name must be open to fan interpretation, then.

Sort of. In the Wii and 3DS versions, you are given the Clunker and Blunder Bucket as freebie Land and Sea Vehicles; this is most likely to allow players to progress through the game even if they don't have their own Land or Sea Vehicle (the Starter Pack only comes with Clown Cruiser, a Sky Vehicle). Performance-wise, they're not the greatest, but at least Beenox was thoughtful enough to not lock out 65% of the game for people without Land or Sea Vehicles. None of the three are playable in the console version, however.

The game has no digital release so they don't plan to sell it as just the disc. The game comes with a Sky one. It assumes you have one, kinda like how SSA will always assume you have Spyro.

That's actually really nice that considering the game has limited content ( only racing ) , they're arnt forcing you to buy the extra figures.
Also allows you to play the game completely if you buy it in a year or 2 and there's no vehicles available in store .

SA & Giants are the best skylanders games. I miss the old style. |
