And at this point yeah I'd also lean towards leaving Windumup alone. I have my own opinions too but harping will just make them feel worse especially if this does turn out legitimate.

In fairness it was a different case and while it may look different now at the time it looked a lot more impulsive and people took issue with it considering how many people on here are similarly questioning that stuff or have made the transition.

Honestly I wouldn't have a problem with Windumup's change if

• They weren't being really desperate
  
• Basically said they were doing this to get attention
  
• If the reasons behind it weren't terrible
  
• Oh and when they finally opened up about it in thread was in their topic about how they lost a GF over parents and about suicidal sounding thoughts. Which kind of tipped me off as they are acting desperate to get a gf/bf.
  

Also if you don't want someone to idk comment on something of your business and strictly your business, don't post it. Plus the section it's SnN are you seriously expecting regular posts instead of meme posting?

I'm not against anything with experimentation, I'm against the reasonings behind it (in this situation).

then the simple solution some of us would not hesitate to suggest is to not say anything about it at all
if you don't get any good out of it then outing yourself is doing more harm than good, and because you said you get made fun for it only shows that you shared it a bit too much, saying nothing is a lot better in many cases
no offense but because of how alien these new gender identities are you are asking for harassment
i know pioneering equality starts somewhere but if you feel the need to complain about getting harassed so often then sorry to say but you will not pioneer the first wave as i believe that is probably what you are trying to do, you need real mental muscle to take off

You know, I probably would have joined in the topic, by not being off topic. If Windumup wasn't doing it for attention seeking. But you know, no one can have their cake and eat it too.

I understand your view on it, but after learning that there was support for people like me, I thought it best to stop suppressing it and start embracing it.
And I don't know where you got the idea of me being harassed for it often. It was really only a few times and by people I thought I could trust. It hasn't escalated to me becoming public enemy number one, and I highly doubt it will. I don't want to pioneer equality either, I'm just trying to be respectful of people's views. I doubt I'll change much in the world, but I just want to be positive around those who are struggling. I don't intend on pioneering anything at all.

you can embrace it without telling everybody though, which is why you get harassed, you would have less problems if you weren't so public about the issue
you post personal thoughts about it, most of the time they are regarding your gender identity
being so open about it is the onset of a considerable amount of your recent problems whether or not you want to believe it

I think the only reason there's any harassment at all about this is because it was sprung out of nowhere, looks like not much thought was put into it yet, and at the start (and still to some) looks like it's being done in an attempt to better find someone.

I get the feeling if Windumup at the start just said that they've been thinking about it for a long time and feel like they're transgender people would not be having a problem right now and would instead be supportive. I've never seen people here be unsupportive until now.

I'm still far from public on the issue, and PT arguably the only outlet I have.
I have no doubt its the cause of SOME of my problems, but not a considerable amount. A lot of my current issues stem from events that stretched from late June on, and my reactions to the fallout and my damage because of them. You're one of the people who knows this.
