Derrick surfaced for a moment to reply to Kihei, "Feel great, actually" he said turning to submerge again. He disappeared into the deep area, where the light did not reach. From here, he had set his armor down on some rocks. He was now free from his confines. He now bolted through the water like any natural ater dragon would, but with his vampiric enhancements, he was much faster than usual. He shot the ward the surface to rocket out of the water and into the sky. He was about three stories above the water. He was in the sun, but covered in water it wasn't torture to fall back to the water.

Kumara calmly began walking back to the others, taking her time to look for crystals. Her own was beginning to dull from the amount of energy she had used up during the journey. The only way to recharge her energy was to drain some from crystals or other power sources using dark or lightning energy. Both were hard to find though, especially since dark crystals could easily corrupt.
She sighed, there was nothing around this place. Perhaps one of the elders could help her...
The thought of help from dragons annoyed her, but, since it was a vital situation, she could put her dislikes aside. She had noticed she wasn't as hostile towards them as she used to be, but thought nothing of it. After all, when you hang around the same dragons you start to appreciate them a little. Of course, she wouldn't admit that.
Kumara then finally decided to take flight and return to the others.

Kihei smiled "That's great buddy" He said before swimming back into the lighted area. He looked around for Kumara

The griffin landed roughly and shook her head. She was beginning to feel the effects of energy loss, which meant she would have to recharge soon. Walking around to the others she began to get dizzy.
"I need to find the elders," she said trying to hide her weakness.

Derrick swam around under the water rapidly, just keeping to himself. He wasn't sure how much ice dragons were like water dragons, so he wasn't expecting Kihei to follow him down here. He settled at the bottom next to his armor, just laying down, relaxing. The water was amazing, but not as satisfying as a much larger body of water.

"Are you ok?" Kihei asked as he got out of the water and over to Kumara

"I just need to find a source of power, preferably a gem of some sort," she replied to Kihei, "I was hoping the elder dragons had some lying around but I'm not sure where they are."

"I'll ask Azuron" Kihei said to Kumara before running over to Azuron. "Sir, our friend Kumara needs to find a power source, preferably a gem. Are there any around here?" He asked

(Yeah, I probably should say that I'm still here, I just haven't found myself with anything to say.)

Glare, having sat around and watched everything, now got up and walked over to Kihei and Azuron, "Uhhh, Kihei, you do know that not one of us here can answer that, except for the elders, right?"

(I'm having Glare say that under the assumption that Azuron doesn't know, which, as far as I know, is possibly true, but that's just me.)

((And I thought Azuron was an elder, I'm faceplaming hard))

Kihei woke up in the library like yesterday and Makil woke up not far from him

ooc: 'sup. Guess who's back.

A scream. A scream. It tore across space, regardless of distance. This scream was not one of pain or suffering, but of rage and anger. It was a scream of frustration and anguish. This mental scream travelled and entered the minds of those who knew and saw this dragon all the way back in Siyalor. It rung in their heads for a second and then was quiet. And out of the silence, four mental words flowed into those same minds and then were gone. "Shadow and light. One." And then it was gone, with no way to track nor find whoever sent the message.

And to Starz, this came and went as well, but there was one more message that came to her. Unlike the others, this one was faint, like a whisper. Like something that was being muffled, this voice spoke. "I'll protect you, always. Beware the Mist..." And then it was gone.

George was woken by the words as they initially were in his dream, "Huh?" He rose his head, "protect me?" He raised his wing to see Derrick was nestled up under him reading a book. Derrick looked up with curious eyes as to what George was saying, "Did you hear something?"

Derrick shook his head, "No, what is it?" He had turned the page slowly as he spoke, since he had just finished this page just before looking up.

"I... I don't know. It was in my dream first," his eyes clenched slightly, "But then," he paused and looked around, "It said something just now, when I woke up," he looked back down, "It was a voice I had never heard before. Something about shadow, and light. Being one. I do not understand what it could mean, but it may just be my imagination from my dream," he shook his head, "Amy way, we must prepare for departure."

Derrick stood up, "Well I don't need anything except my armor really," he stated walking away to allow George to get up properly.

George hadnt stood up yet, but sat up more comfortably, "It's strange," his mind went back to the coice for a moment, "Nevermind," he stood up. Since yesterday, with the help of Shade, he was now replenished and ready for anything again, "Well, I suppose we could head into town for a short while, and pick up some more food. I still need to eat you know," he rubbed Derricks head with a light smile.

"So... Today's the day," Kumara said to herself. She was lucky that last night she found a crystal that she could charge from.

"alright, and I'm coming with you," Derrick added already heading for the door, "We're going to have to make it fast, don't want to make the others wait again."

George realized they had been served food yet again after all, "It would seem we wont have to head into town, we were provided food by the elders," he stated as he followed Starz to where the food was. When she walked off into the hall way by herself, he only watched for a moment before retrieving some food for himself. Derrick does eat regular food, so he only came along to be by George's side, "I can feel it already, George gave a light laugh, "Today is going to be a long day."

Kihei had gotten some food when he saw George and Derrick. He decided to go over to them. "Yeah, but it will be worth it" He said as he sat next to them.

Makil got some food and sat down by himself, wondering about what was going to happen inside the mist.

Derrick huffed a sigh of laughter, "Oh, I was about to ask why we had to go over a mountain in the first place, but I think that last bit cleared it up," he added walking over to the small group as they spoke about the expected day's events. George was just behind him as they approached.

Kihei smiled "At least we know where to go" He said

(Sorry for the wait, but I've been busy, and confused on the message thing dragon-outcast did.)

Glare yawned as he woke up, and went to where the others were, with Voltaire right behind him, though less sleepy. "Starting without me? Anyway, someone want to recap what was just said?"

"Well this is going to be fun," Kumara grinned. She was becoming quite excited about their journey now, even if there was a chance they would not survive.

George decided to chime in since the subject was currently on the mountain mission, "Well as an earth dragon I could be of some great assistance in the scaling of the mountain. I could make any mud solidify so that we could cross with ease, or make something very steep have steps, or even make some ground that is very sharp into... well less sharp, depends on what we come across really," he then sat down next to Derrick, figuring they would discuss the ideas of the group all together.

(Not what I meant exactly, I was confused about who the message was for, and waited for D-O to reply.)

Glare nodded, "I'm sure my ice element might have it's uses too, as well as light."

"Despite the danger, this should be fun." Voltaire nodded as well..
