I think I'm screwed [CLOSED]

At school today there was a subject selection for next year, one of which I chose was graphics,
But nobody told me that computer graphics and drawing graphics are different things. And I had already handed my sheet in,
2 periods later I asked my group teacher if he handed the sheet in, he already did and I told him I wanted to change the chosen subject. He said he will try to get my sheet back,
So I'm worried ****less that I will get put into drawing graphics because I cant draw for ****

Sorry just wanted to let that out

I can't really help ya there but I would just like to say that I told all my elementary art teachers the same thing.


Scribbling counts as art just look at Picasso.

If we're talking New zealand high school graphics, don't worry it's not actual art picture drawing, it's drawing buildings with like rulers and ****. There is some computer stuff but I think that's more when you get into NCEA.

I know cause I took it throughout my entire 5 years of high school. And you'll probably be able to change classes next year even if you can't get you sheet back now.

I got stuck taking a political science class in university as an elective course, as no other class could fit into my schedule. I was majoring in computer science. I went to the class once and never showed up again until the exam. I managed to pass with a 71%, mainly because 75% of the course was the essay we had to hand in at the end of the term.

You can always practice drawing. You'd be amazed at how quickly you can get better at it.

And to be honest, good drawing/sketching skills are pretty imperative when you're designing things using a computer also.

if it's classes for the next year it shouldn't be too hard to fix it, especially this fast after handing the sheet in. but maybe you could benefit from going through with the class

I got stuck with Physics. I only picked it because it was science and I thought I'd be good at it, but it turned out to be hard as balls later.
