I don't actually like Skystones Overdrive much. I prefer to be a collector rather than a gamer. Nuff said.

I'm pretty sure I'm more of a collector than a gamer, but I'm REALLY trying to fool myself that the game is worth all of this money spent...hahahahaha

when it comes to Skystones, I'm with you....I never liked it, though tbh I much prefer the original version from Giants to Smash or Overdrive ( just felt more fun to me ). I'm more interested in simply collecting every skystone than actually playing the minigame

Anyways, which Skystone(s) do you enjoy most?

Any one that "shakes it up" with a either a "random health reduction" like Malefor and Dream Catcher, "health buff" like Golden Queen or Cali or "simple randomness" like Kaos or Hot Steak or villain specific antics like Chompy Mage. The others are pretty much all the same except for slight health and hit point changes. Basically I'm finding the Trap Team villain cards to be among the more interesting. Taking over similar characteristics from the last Skystones game provided a good mashup of Trap Team and this game I think. I'm really wanting a variant of the Giants game where there are damage on multiple sides instead of being in "rows."

I'm only starting to vary up my deck....but this is the first game where the cards have enough depth that crafting a deck is actually a strategy...before it was a done deal to simply include the ones with the highest hit points.

Hot Steak can become broken without a correct Deck to counteract it. My favorite Overdrive so far is possibly Barrel Blaster.

Because there are cards for both you and your opponent than can summon a random vehicle, so you can see it in action, if not your collection.
