A good game. Anything else is asking too much at this point,even if the IP gets sold to a company with a good track record.

A return to the 3D platform collect-a-thon genre. No need for an overdramatic story, or God of War combat, no hack-and-slash, no need for a gimmick. Just good ole spyro back to his roots.

Elora. I don't care if it's EtD levels of bad again, I just want to see her again. At least she got an homage in Skylanders (that's playable and has an awesome figure). That's the closest to seeing Elora gain in a Spyro game since YotD. ;_; XD

A collectathon focused on exploration in open worlds, with a lighthearted story, pastel colors and a comfy soundtrack, and no hollow clunky-to-play friends or minigame bombardment.

I don't really know. Probably nothing? I honestly think it would have been nice if Spyro was just a nice trilogy on the PlayStation, none of this gigantic mess after YOTD. TLOS and Skylanders didn't need Spyro; they both easily could have been their own franchise without him. Spyro went really downhill and strayed away from his roots as soon as Sierra gained the IP and made AHT, SL and the TLOS games. A lot of platformers on the Playstation never had any more releases through the PS2 era and stopped after the third or second game, like Croc, Gex, Banjo-Kazooie, etc. So they're remembered only as great games that used to be part of many childhoods.

Banjo-Kazooie had Nuts and Bolts, but that was only a third installment and the franchise stopped after that one rather than trying again. So it was easy to just ignore that one game, compared to Spyro's many bad releases after the third one and a fandom that used to be incredibly split.

Me too :/ she was designed and voiced terribly in EtD and had no reason not to be in AhT

Me too :/ she was designed and voiced terribly in EtD and had no reason not to be in AhT

She appeared in SL, but her design was horrid in that game. And I didn't mind her design in ETD.

Her design on Shadow Legacy was straight up a sprite drawn over her 3D model from YOTD. I don't think the artist noticed the polygons don't reflect her actual appearance.

A good story and well developped characters.

I just like to see a classic Spyro gameplay, on the style of Spyro 3 and A Hero's Tail. And a something that make you crazy for collecting items. All of then.

I was just thinking about it as I realized how Skylanders have dropped Spyro like a sack of potatoes after SF (disrespectful, they would be nowhere without Spyro's name). They should really remake the original trilogy. They could throw in some kind of Skylanders function if they want but the main focus should be bringing our Spyro back.

Not releasing more figures(also Spry was a thing) doesn't mean they dropped him, he's still compatible in every game. In fact, releasing more would probably spell trouble since he'd be on the same level as Gill Grunt and SE to people who never played the oldschool games.

Something to make the serie relevent again and make the fandom became big again instead of lots of people leaving the fandom(xannador recently deactivated his account)

A game similar to Year of the Dragon or A Hero's Tail gameplay wise, with catchy music and good character designs.
Bringing Hunter, Elora, and Bianca back would be nice, and I always found Bentley, Bartholomew, and Agent 9 funny.

Wouldn't mind a re-imagining of the first game. It doesn't have to be made exactly the same, some modernizing of the levels, and gameplay would be great. A bit like what Insomniac have done with the Ratchet series. And then there could be a Spyro movie based on the game

Not really sure. All I can say for certain is "A good, fun game with an open world."
