Some S&N terms you should know

Red Sparxing: A rare term but it is basically referring to how red sparxs are treated (Both positively and negatively, but don't let the negative red sparxing affect you too much) This occurs because well you're new and we haven't established what kind of user you are.
Gimmick: This refers to something a certain user is known for (Example. Our mod HIR is known for his Colress and Miles Edgeworth avatar) OR a particular theme to there posts as of recently. Like posting an anime reaction picture in every thread, or making like 5 vocaloid threads in a row.
Trend: Self explanatory these are threads that usually fill up the page and they can come out of no where. One of the most famous trends is the Ask Me trend where users ask the original poster a question
Hunter: This term is universal across all the boards, it is the official name of the moderator's title. Although you will hear mod a LOT more
Leaving/Returning thread!: Said when an user posts a "goodbye" or "I am back" thread.
Gaming Section!: Like the previous one but for when an user posts a thread that deserves to be in the gaming section
Skyro: Kinda rare but it refers to an user who only came for Skylanders and not because they played the original Spyro.
Sparx: It's a universal term but it is basically a number+color that represents how long you been here based on posting activity. To raise your gems (measurement of how long till you reach the next rank) post more often. You get 3 gems per week you post

Wait, so the "Rex Sparx" is the newest rank? Well this is certainly news to me.

Skyro is the general term for Skylanders Spyro, I've never used it as or seen someone use it to refer to a user. What I've seen is just call those people 'kids' with no specific denomination.

You also get gems just for visiting.

Platinum = 385 weeks =  7 years, 7 months
    NEW! = 577 weeks = 11 years, 4 months

edit: I also just worked out how to do "code" text (So that you can align things nicely like above), which doesn't seem to be listed on the help files :/ same as everything else, but with "code"

Are these numbers from red sparx, or from the rank it shows? For example, it says blue takes 39 weeks. Does that mean from green it takes 39 weeks to become a blue Sparx?

The number of weeks are how old an account would have to be at that level, with the time getting more and more accurate the higher the rank is, due to the way probability works. Getting to green could take anywhere btween 7 and 10 weeks, but Platinum would take exactly 7 years and 7 months almost every time, give or take a week or 2 at the most. Although there is this "Gem Day" that I don't know about, that would throw these numbers off.

Ahhhh... okay... that makes a more sense. Also, gem day is a day that happens once every 500 days, and everyone gets 100 gems added to their account.
