Why should this be a good idea? Besides taking the previously used avatar and claiming them as your own?

I don't get it. Why? Wouldn't this be stalking in a way? Imagine if somebody accidentally confirmed a pic and submitted it? Plus, like the above said, people can grab the avatar and claim it as their own.

The database wouldn't allow for it the way that it's currently set up, it would only work from the day it was integrated (you couldn't see people's avatars from before that date) and in theory, you could exploit the system to constantly upload images and fill the server with jpgs; unless you limited it some way.

But aside from that; there is no point. The avatars aren't actually being used, they're just taking up space on the server for the purpose of an archive. Bear in mind that threads in the S&N board have to be completely purged because of the amount of server space thread from that section take up alone, since it's the most active section on the website.

Considering the avatar size limit is a horrendous 100x100, I'm pretty sure who ever runs this site is way too stingy to save multiple avatars to one profile.

It would make it easier to remember who's who if they change their avatar, though.

Implying that 100x100 is any kind of bad. Why do you need it to be any higher resolution?

dark52 runs the site.

100x100 is actually a lot better than most forums I've been to.
I doubt this is because dark is stingy.

Chill the **** out.

the 100x100 avatar size is fine

the ugly ui though makes it look smaller then it is though, which i believe is the source of complaints.
