Ive got a box here with a golden version of hot streak. What's the rarity of this?

Not very from the looks of it. There is a thread over in the Superchargers forum about this. Lots of pics of multiple boxes all with a Golden Hot Streak in them.

eBayers are currently trying to get over $100 for one, but I haven't seen one actually sell yet. They're not as rare as the Event Exclusive Hot Streak of the Clear Trap Masters and those are going for a lot less.

You know that old adage about being in the right place at the right time? I stopped by my favorite Gamestop tonight to see if they had any more of the exclusive comic books from launch day last Sunday (they neglected to give me one when I picked up my Wii U pre-order starter pack) and when the GS clerk was looking around in the back room for them I was browsing the used 'Landers and something caught my eye. I noticed that there was what appeared to be a brand new Supercharger still in the package hanging with the used figures and it had a used figure GS tag on it. As I was peeling back the sticker to see what was under it, the clerk came back out and said "yea, my boss got that at an event and traded it in. I don't really know what it is, except that it's a different color than the one in the starter pack. He asked if I wanted to buy it."

Yes ladies and gentlemen, hanging in some random Gamestop in AZ was a 2015 E3 Hot Streak Supercharger vehicle!

At this point my head is exploding and I am trying not to show any signs of freak-out so I calmly told him that I liked variants and I proceeded to purchase the vehicle for about $14. Luckily the "big as Rhode Island" GS price sticker came off pretty cleanly.

Quite an unexpected and awesome find let me tell you! I have no idea how long it might have been hanging there but I am sure glad I stopped in there tonight!

Now, if I can only find a gold one.... ;-)

They had 3 ps4 boxes with the gold one at the SE most TRU in Memphis yesterday.

I saw an xbox one starter pack in target with the gold car today. I have a PS4 though so didn't buy it.

Same here! I was just looking around at their used rack and it was hanging there. I couldn't believe it, so I grabbed it and googled the image of the E3 variant on my phone to compare. Sure enough, that was it! The store associate said that it was given to the manager as a gift, but he doesn't play so he gave it to the store to sell. And now I am it's proud owner.

Just saw 2 for Xbox One while browsing the mall's Gamestop today. Picked one up.

I found the PS4 version last weekend at TRU in Williamsville NY.

Every time I've gone to a store that sells Skylanders, I've seen a starter pack with a gold Hot Streak. That includes today. I really think that if anyone wants this variant just wait a few months and get one secondhand. It can't be that rare if I've seen 20+ of them. Of course, it could still be worth more than a normal Skylander, but a lot less than a starter pack.

I second this. It also seems that XBox One versions are selling very poorly. I've seen plenty in stores and Amazon has already dropped the price of the XBox One dark starter pack to $75.

I have been to quite a few stores and have never seen the golden hot streak. I have been the first customer at a lot of those stores as well. I guess it depends where you live.
