If you do it overnight, but chances are they'll upload important things like final boss and main theme as soon as possible. And don't forget they always have spoilery thumbnails,so stay safe from spoilers,guys!

If you mean a car trip in real life, not in the game, I think that chill music is more appropriate. I don't think of a trip at night with a intense music.

Speaking of the Final Boss theme here so beware.

I honestly didn't like Kaos' and Darkness' boss themes too much, they felt like they could work as themes for the characters, not as boss fights, Kaos' theme was too chill and quiet for a boss fight this late in the game, Darkness, he was built up a lot during the game AND right before the final battle as this incredible enemy and the most epic battle we'd ever have. And the theme, it REALLY doesn't fit it, it's not a bad theme, don't get me wrong, but it works as Darkness' own theme, not as a battle theme. Compare to the Final Boss theme of Trap Team, which was fun, intense, while it had Kaos' own theme in there, it was always fast paced and kept changing as the battle went on to something more insane and epic. Here it's just ominous orchestra that just sounds evil and bad, that's my problem right there, the theme isn't focused on the BATTLE but on the character we're fighting, and it kinda feels anti-climatic.

Are you joking? It's a serious question, that I can't think of a way to express without sounding passive-aggressive... But, who sleeps to intense music and drives to calm music?
Lullabies are calm for a reason, and highway to -censored- is intense for a reason... Same with Sonic music, it's pretty much all hard rock to metal in 3D Sonic...
(And the occasional intense hip hop)
Not trying to be mean, just seems really odd to me.
But seriously, high action music should stimulate your brain, not wind it down...
I can understand listening to intense music while you work though...

I mean, I hear just anything in anytime. I go to sleep hearing intense music, but, if I want to calm down, I hear a calm one (Junkyard Isle from Giants works for me). I hear the music that I like to hear in that moment.

I think it's because SC has more ambience-y tracks; take the new Academy themes for example. All but the postgame theme are very subtle, but even being super calm as well the TT verion, the beats are very proeminent and you won't space out and forget about it at any point.

That said, man I was so relieved they gave Cloud Kingdom an original track though its boss is still a remix of Chef Zeppelin Shooting Section(which is amazing and can stay). The remixes are actually few and far inbetween this game,just like TT.

Also man, such a shame you can't be always underwater in Mystical Vault. Beautiful,just hauntingly beautiful. Watch out for related songs being spoilers.

parodying those old movies which had celebrity singers thrown in just to sing some generic uplifting song... Or for a closer approach, possibly parodying Guide You Home from the third Legend of Spyro game which is a VERY similar song. Stylistic Suck is a real thing, you know, and it wasn't really intrusive since you can just skip the credits.

I loved the Brimstone & Boulders boss music, I feel that would have fitted perfectly with the final boss. The final boss music was nice, but it didn't seem like a final boss track. I still think that Spyro's Adventure has the best soundtrack but this is a close second. Cloudbreather's Crag vehicle section was just amazing, I actually use it for my alarm to wake me up in the morning now.

I also love how the legendary treasures can change the music in the Academy. Hearing the woodburrow theme in the academy for the first time was something very special indeed.
