In the past, TRU has almost always received Wave 2 on release day or very shortly after, but today I went to my local store, and there was no sign of W2 and the employees had no idea. I thought we had pretty good evidence that wave 2 was coming soon since we had Nitro Stealth Stinger and Steel Plater Smash Hit in wave one, both of whom's normal versions were in Wave 2... has anyone found any solid evidence on when we're actually supposed to be getting Wave 2?

In a TRU in Kansas that is also getting the amiibo restocks.

Yeah my tru also had no idea. That was the whole reason I went there, only to be disappointed. I hope we get it sooner than months because I was really looking forward to burn cycle

Yeh no wave 2 anywhere.

I wouldn't expect wave 2 yet, wave 1 technically has like 15 of the 40 figures . That's over a third !!! If they released wave 2 day one , over 50% of the figures would be already released, and that doesn't seem like a likely plan.

Where's wave 2? Out next month, so be patient.

Don't remember what we've all been saying for over 3 months? Wave 2 should come out the 25th

As in, resell? He is only Gamestop exclusive for this week, and is streetdated at TRU for next Sunday, the 27th. He shouldn't really be worth anything more than retail.

The only multi-pack I saw this morning in the USA was the Sea Racing pack with Gill Grunt and the Sea Trophy. There were no Dual Packs, no Triple Packs.

The store employee in the Pineville TRU store had no idea about wave 2 figures, but that said, she didn't really seem too knowledgeable. Defpally has some connections at the Concord store; he might know whether or not they had Wave 2 boxes opened on release day/night there.

Wave 2 is being released later then wave 1........SHOCKING!!

Not Dual packs at Target or Toys r us. Best Buy would have been the only likely bet though.

Doesn't wave 2 usually release in limited quantities a day or 2 after launch day at tru? Normally they send out an email the night before announcing that they'll have it in stock.

Found no wave 2 items at any of the location I checked in Lakeland, Fl. area. (TRU, Target, Walmart, BB and GS). The Store Manager was very helpful and checked the computer. He showed me the shipping list going into Dec. It appears there will be some type of character release each week, including some Eon's Elite.

There were no Combo Packs at any of the locations. The biggest waste of my time were the Walmart visits. One location did not have anything out on the pegs and another location had just the free standing display with vehicles. I guess they did not want any of the business for launch day. Plenty of stock in the other locations.

Oh, I went you slacker. No Wave 2, my friends checked everything in the back. They put out everything except some Wii and WiiU Starters since they had so many of them. There was much less stock and more people this year, but no one walked away without what they wanted (except for a few Dark Starters, notably the PS3 version). They had a good supply left over for this morning.

Dual Packs are dated 10/2 at Best Buy. I pre-ordered those with Gamer's Club when I got home.

I went by Target and Best Buy this afternoon, Steel Plated Smash Hit looks absolutely TERRIBLE. They went nuts with the green paint and it wasn't because of a bad paint job. It just didn't look good.

Target brought some Nitro Stealth Stingers out for a kid and I looked one over. It looked ok I guess. I'm on the no variant train this year, so I didn't get either or Legendary Jet Vac. I'm also not messing with Frightful Fiesta, so didn't bother with Gamestop. No Wave 2 anywhere by the way. I also skipped the Starter Packs since it will be Christmas gifts, will wait for a good deal maybe on Black Friday (since I'm skipping the Dark edition).

The main thing I noticed is apparently stores are being conservative with initial stock. They aren't selling out, but there isn't a swamp of unwanted stuff. Anything you want you can find easily, except maybe the Dark Starter for a couple systems (Wii and WiiU are plentiful, though). Obviously they are being more cautious after the stocking issues from the previous years. TRU can't give away the old stuff, and they were really trying with the old stuff deals.

My guess is that since the Uk is getting the game on the 25th UK will be getting waves 1 & 2 and US get wave 2 on the 25th so that it makes things a little more fair. Just a guess.

I found the three & dual packs but they were register locked ! Being held !

I'd agree, but no one had Fiesta when I checked multiple stores Thursday morning. There was literally only 2 maybe three 3 Dark Starters per store. To ME it looked like either people picked the stores clean night before or there wasn't a lot of stock sent.

Found no dual packs at my four locations. For SPSH and NSS, an employee went into the back to get them. Neither Target or Best Buy had their stock out.

I'm so sorry to hear that buddy, but at least you found and . I really want Smash Hit and I hope you figure something out with Nightfall. It's a shame that the dark element supercharger had to be defected and I do hope they fix her very soon.

Funny thing is Walmart was my best visit. I got a ton of characters. Dive-Clops, Stormblade, Fiesta, Crypt Crusher, and Sky Slicer. Lol

So from what I gather, dual packs and wave 2 were simply localized mistakes this time around (not that they weren't in some other instances). The only for sure bet I've seen on early wave two is small stock on a 2nd day release. Anyone got any e-mails on this?
