It's been my experience that mine only gets about 5 people in for their early release Skylanders stuff. So they don't participate in early release stuff.

I've been to Walmart at midnight sharp looking for Skylanders but they don't have a clue as they have "vendors" that puts video game stuff out for them, or so some employee claimed to me last year. Theirs got put out around 10 AM or so last year...long after Targer, Gamestop, Best Buy and TRU opened and starting selling theirs.

Yeah I've had some pretty bad experiences with midnight video game releases at Walmart. At the Walmarts near me the people at the electronics department at night tend to have zero knowledge about or interest in video games, so explaining to them what I'm even talking about is a chore.

IKR. I went to Walmasrt back when Swap Force came out. I was there until 1:30 because they couldn't find the shipment. Turns out it was at the very front of the warehouse... I wanted to go over and steal a fishing rod from the hunting section and viciously attack them with it

Not enough of a sale for me to get out of the house. I may miss wave 2, but in no rush. I have over 300 skylanders to play with...will buy digital b/c I absolutely HATE the SC portal this year.

I just came back from there. Not worth it really. All they had was some Wave 1 stuff, no dual packs, no wave 2 stuff at all. Last year I remember they were bringing out wave 2 stuff that was the whole reason I went right now (I preordered the wave 1 stuff from best buy). And to top it off they didn't have any bogo deals. Last year they had buy one get one 50% off everything. Nothing here.

No 50% but they did have bogo 40% off on all skylanders, amiibos and infinity.

No double packs or wave 2 at the TRU we visited. I will be going to another one at 8am to see if there is any difference there. Plenty of everything, including Dark Editions. Some of the PS4 regular packs had a yellow, vs the standard red, Hot Streak. What's that about? I didn't know that was going to happen.

This makes it all too easy for me to wake up now, fully rested (no game yet) knowing the TRU "event" was useless. Wondering if ZapNorris went to see what the "other offers" were.
