So I know the characters are $14 and the vehicles are $17 at TRU. But does anyone know the price of the Jet Vac-Jet Stream, Terrafin-Shark Tank, as well as the Sea Racing Pack at TRU or the MSRP? Thanks.

Edit: Will the two aforementioned double packs be out tonight?

Hopefully, TRU will offer special discount deals when we buy more than three for smaller prices.

I second this...besides TRU exclusives and wave 2 (if available), Best Buy will be your best bet for deals. The figure surcharge is ridiculous. I believe it goes from $1 to $2 for anything above $20 and even higher for stuff above $35. I remember the $40 8-trap packs were $45 at TRU. When at all possible, I don't support businesses like this regardless of whether or not they have amazing selection. It's a flat 20% off at Best Buy with GCU...TRU can't beat that...either for Skylanders or any video game needs.

Ok and I gt that, but I am going at midnight, BB doesn't do that so, I need to know the pricing. I'm not looking for the best deal. I just need to know TRU pricing.

If you're going at midnight and buying regardless of a deal, why care what price you are going to be purchasing at? Add anywhere from $1-3 on MSRP you see on other websites and you have yourself a good estimate of the price including the TRU surcharge. The surcharge goes up as the price of the product goes up. For example, the light/dark expansion packs were $32 ($2 surcharge) at TRU. If you absolutely need an exact price, why not pick up a phone and call Toys R Us?

People say that with the GCU that it is the much better deal, but for me I don't have BB close to me and ordering online once you pay shipping it is equal to or more than the TRU markup.

I am not a champion for TRU or anything like that, but I find it ridiculous that people fret about $1 or $2 per item with Skylanders. If you're on this website, you are probably a collector, meaning you plan to spend hundreds (or more?) of dollars on Skylanders annually. I'm not saying people shouldn't look for deals where they can find them, but does it REALLY matter if you're spending $330 versus $350 overall? I mean, if you have a Best Buy nearby and TRU is a long drive away, then yeah, I'd say Best Buy is a good option for you, especially if you are in their gamers' club. But we should all be aware by now that Best Buy (and other retailers) do not have the volume and variety that TRU typically puts on their shelves. For the average consumer, who doesn't want to run around from store to store in search of "short-boxed" individual characters, TRU offers superior convenience and selection, in exchange for slightly higher prices, that are often mitigated by BOGO40% offers and coupons.

Personally the local Best Buys only have shelf warmers even on release day, so why would I buy there for anything other then exclusives even with a discount I am not likely to find anything I don't already have at least with Target and Toys R Us I can get variety and a chance at non shelf warmers.

The MSRP on the dual packs are $24.99. TRU is selling them individually for a total of ~$31. I'd expect their markup to take their price to $28-$30.

TRU is on the back burner for my shopping needs for the sheer principle of charging $1-2 more. I don't find myself running around at all between stores for my Skylander shopping, so the so-called convenience factor of selection and volume at TRU is a moot point for me. If you are a collector and are collecting a wave of figures, there's no reason why you can't reach the minimum amount for free shipping at Best Buy. I collected most of my Trapmasters in the ~$10 price range, so obviously I wait for sales and feel no need to rush out and get characters blindly on launch day like an addict. Target had some great sales in October and early November last year with great selection. As far as short-boxed characters, I got Echo from Amazon and an extra from Target during a sale...got my Spotlight and Blackout for $8 from Best Buy...no running around involved.

Everyone remember when there wasn't a surcharge? I loved TRU in past years for convenience...but with much fewer figures to worry about...I can buy it where I get the best service. BB with the Gamer'c Club fits the bill for me, and they ship products a lot better than TRU too. TRU was my favorites last year, mainly out of necessity. I may need TRU in Wave 3 or further depending on how "up to date" BB is on their product. Yes, it's not a lot difference, but I do want an adjustment of attitude from TRU...I prefer if they go back to the MSRP like everyone else.
