I was checking Micromania.fr, as well as when the variants for Fiesta, Smash Hit and Stealth Stinger are suppose to be out and they say Day 1 (9/25 on Micromania.fr). So I was wondering if anyone else thinks that they will. If not, when do you think they'll be out?
FYI: Smash Hit and Stealth Stinger are in Wave 2, but their variants are listed for 9/20 in the US. A little food for thought.

For me I live in Canada and since we've never had Wave 1 and 2 on day one, Nope. I don't think so but if Steel Plated Smash Hit is on day 1 it will be totally worth it because hes kinda apart of wave 1 so yeah. YAY!

On the 20th? No. On the 25th? Yes!

I'm not sure, my local TRU didn't put Wave 2 out day one last year. They waited until the official release a couple of days later. So, I doubt my TRU will put it out day one.

I hope wave 2 comes out on day 1, so I can get high volt and nightfall but I doubt it. Wave 2 will most likely come out on the 25th.

Not a big deal for me, since I'm getting the game most likely way after Wave 2 is released.

if not, i'll get steel plated smash hit.

I think its a possibility we will know more info soon but I just preorder sp smash hit so I only want high volt for that wave maybe nightfall

Well I'm going to Best Buy first probably on day 1 so i can get Stormblade, Dive-Clops,Steel Plated Smash hit and Sky Slicer and Also Fiesta if I have enough money then I'm going to EB Games to get the Starter Pack so i don't need to pre-order him well, I don't pre-order things except for the Starter Pack

I'm not going to wait till last minute for TRU deals. BB has the better deal RIGHT NOW with Gamers Club....I'll give them a couple more days then I'll just preorder my stuff from BB and wait for it to be delivered.

i think they will be mixing up the waves as usually in other countries...

The nice thing will be is that there will be seven supercharged combos out just in Wave 1.
Two more in Wave 2 and seven more in Wave 3.
But if there are those who get Nitro Stealth Stinger, then there would be eight.

I hope so. Right now I'm only getting Fiesta with Wave 1, and if TRU pops up at the last minute with a gdlk deal, then I'll scoop Terrafin also. I'm super underwhelmed this year. Dive Clops was cool until we saw him in footage...pass until there is a stupid sale. Storm Blade doesn't look interesting. Gill Grunt...Jet Vac...Terrafin...a repose is still a repose. Its not just about move set. Not only that but I just don't like what they've done WITH the reposes. Wave 2 will at least net me Nightfall...

This has been the cheapest year for TtL for my family since we got into it. Disney Infinity we bought one pack, one expansion, and 'eventually' 4 figures (was really 2, then decided to just be really nice and got my son Disgust and Oolaf). Skylander's is looking no different - granted we will most likely get a couple copies for the Skymiibos...and because...Bowser, but I'm not interested in any reposes, and I don't like all the new characters either. I LOVE Fiesta though...alt-deco will get copped along with the regular one.

So quick question about the super charge thing, for the re-released ones does it have to be this version for the boost of can in be any version, like say a series one stealth elf or an eons elite for the boost?

I saw gamestops release list, and the only Skylanders I saw on there were the wave one guys. So, definitely not at gamestop.

I'll be sure to take enough money to pick up the guys I want from wave 2.

Funny thing is I asked at mine and they said no. They have everything but wave 2 is dated for later in week. Goes to show TRU still has no clue what they are doing.

i called all 3 of my local stores- they all said they won't know until they open the boxes on the day of.

I just came from my buddies GS and i can confirm they have all of wave 1 nothing for wave 2, TRU will be your best bet i'm guess.

The last 3 years TRU released Wave 2 on day 2 at my store. No other stores (GS, Walmart, Target) gets them early.

And this is just a smallish batch. If you don't get them on that 2nd day, you aren't getting them for another month usually.

I remember when the forum was 90% parents buying this stuff for the wee ones.....a lot less silly rumors such as this showing up left and right.

i called the TRU doing a midnight release in my area-

they said wave one only, and they don't know about the combo packs (jet vac/jet stream and terrafin/shark tank)

The question I always have with them saying that is...do they know what characters are in each wave? From my experience they just call it all Wave 1 because they don't know the difference.
