the more time passed, the more I became less Christian.
Now I'm completely atheist and don't believe the bible or the stupid catechism I was forced to go through when I was younger.

Going into a church as an atheist and be all like

Oh hey my family is celebrating my pretty-much-senile great-grandmother's 90th birthday in a community area that isn't overbearing on religious symbols and such.

This weekend was fairly alright. There were even vegetarian sandwiches so I didn't have to be totally uncomfortable in regards to food, either.

I only had to be uncomfortable in the way that I always am when I'm with family who like to ask about my life when it's as if they're hardly in it in the first place. I mean it's extended family so what can you expect but... I dunno, maybe I'm just more introverted than I consider myself to be. Or I otherwise just don't fit in with my family all that well, despite having a fairly decent relationship with them in spite of everything.

:L It's confusing. What were we talking about? Religion? There's more important things to worry about, truly.

People laughed at me for being interested in pastafarianism one time. That wasn't very nice and I sort of stopped looking into it as a result. Such intolerance.

I would never insult anyone because of their religion, but I have no problem telling people they're becoming an ass and using religion as a vehicle for it.


The three Abrahamic religions are all equally problematic IMO.
